A deep groan escaped my lips as pressure released from my lower back.

My masseuse works wonders.

My body melted into the massage table with every press of the palm into my muscle.

This is exactly what I needed after a week of running around for business and school.

I began dozing off to the sound of stillness before my phone began ringing my father's ring tone.

I reached my lanky arm to the dresser it was sitting on and pressed 'Accept.'

[If you speak this native South African language, Xhosa, please correct the translations and/or phonetic spelling if need be :)]

- Molo, unjani (mow-low oon-jawn-knee)
('Hello how are you?')

"Molo, Bawo. (mow-low bah-woah) ('Hi, Dad') Everything is well," I propped myself up on my elbows.

- Kulungile (koo-loon-ghee-lay) ('Well/ Alright') We have to discuss something. Thetha isiXhosa kuphela. (tay-thaw ee-see-ko-suh koo-pay-la) ('Only Speak Xhosa')

"Yintoni ephezulu? Ndizithathile iikopi zeefayile kwisitokhwe nakwiindawo eziphantsi kweWeston. Ngaba ikhona enye into endifuna ukuyazi?" (yen-toe-knee aye-phay-zoo-loo en'dee-zee-ta-tee-lay ee-ko-pee zee-fay-yee-lay kwee-see-toe-kway nah-queen-dah-woah aye-zee-font-see kway-Weston. en'gah-bah eek-hone-nah een-yay in-to in-dee-foon-nah oo-koo-yah-zee) ('What's up? I picked up the hard copies of the e-files for the stocks and locations under Weston. Is there something else I need to know?')

- Ezo fayile kufuneka zisuswe. Ndinobuchwephesha bokwenza ngendlela eyiyo. (aye-zo phay-yee-lay koo-foo-nay-kah zee-soo-sway. en'dee-know-boo-shway-pay-shah bow-kwen-zah en'ghend-lay-la aye-yee-yo) ('Those e-files need to be deleted. I'm having a technology technician over to do it the 'proper' way)

What in the world is he talking about?

"Andiqondi," my face morphed into confusion. (awn-dee-cone-dee) ('I don't understand')

- Mamela nje. Yonke into iya kunyanyekelwa. (mah-may-la en'jay. yone-kee in-to ee-ya koon-yawn-yay-kale-wah) ('Just listen. Everything will be taken care of')

I wasn't going to press him but something is up. He's a smart man.
