Ahsoka Tano was annoyingly awoken by the sound of her Master thumping his robotic hand against her quarter door. "Snips! Get up! Senator Amidala is waiting for us in the Senate. I have your new clothes for you that she ordered. Snips, GET UP!" Anakin Skywalker may be one of the fastest, bravest, kindest and most reckless of all the Jedi and she loved him like a brother and was happy to be his Padawan but, boy, was he ever so irritating! She had to get up very early everyday however she thought she didn't have much to do today so she was looking forward to a lie-in. "SNIPS! GET UP OR I'LL COME IN!" Ahsoka realized that she had been mute in her response for a while and should probably answer.

"Relax Master, I'm getting up now." Ahsoka replied with a sigh. Sitting up in her bed and standing up, she stretched and used the Force to open the door. "Good morning, Master, did you have a pleasant night?" She smiled up at him, the mirth evident in her eyes over their shouting wake-up call.

"I did indeed my lazy, little Padawan. Here are your new clothes. How was your night?" Anakin was holding a medium-sized brown paper package in his hands that contained her new clothes, he was also holding a mirror for her. She'd recently had her fifteenth birthday and her body was changing in all the the general ways female bodies change however her Togruta species had their own changes: her lekku and monstrals were longer now, just above her breasts. Her facial markings were slightly different as well: the arrow shaped ones on either side of her face were more pointed and longer now with the diamond markings at the top of her face larger and more prominent.

As a result of this her clothes needed changing from the crop top, skirt, white leggings and red boots; now Senator Amidala had bought Ahsoka new clothes to suit her. "I'll be waiting outside so don't take too long, we're already running late." Her Master nodded at her and walked outside. Ahsoka smiled, her usually confident, carefree Master always seemed more anxious whenever Padme was involved. Opening the package she saw that Padme had gifted her with a burgundy top that had a small cut out above her breasts that didn't reavel anything and a large cutout at the back that exposed pretty much all of her back. It reached down to below her hips so it kind of looked like she had a small skirt on. There were also a pair of gauntlets in the same colour that easily fitted around her arms in three rings with a pair of long gloves that ended halfway up her palm. Crisscrossed brown belts attached by a medium sliver hexagon where her lightsabers would go were holding a purple strip of fabric with a pretty pattern on it that went in front of the lower part of her top. The grey tights had diamond cutouts along the outside of her thighs that reflected the diamond markings on her head. Finally, there were a pair of red boots that had a v-shaped cut in the front to complete the look.

Ahsoka looked at herself in the mirror and was quite surprised and happy by the result. Before she had considered herself to be quite young and almost pretty; now she looked more mature and attractive. She was pleased. "Snips, you ready? We're running late remember." Anakin called through the door.

"Coming Master!" Ahsoka replied, taking one last look in the mirror.

The Senate meeting went as boringly as she expected, all the Senators talked about were finances, taxes and deregulating the banks. She couldn't see how any of that would help them win the war. "Senator, how does any of this help the war effort? No one mentioned anything about helping the clones or Generals on the frontlines."

Padme stopped and turned to Ahsoka. "If we can sort out the compilations of war then the need for Generals and clones will be obsolete, we can find a diplomatic and peaceful end to this war." She smiled at Ahsoks but it turned to a frown as she heard her husband scoff. "Something you would like to say General Skywalker?" Padme asked as she turned to him, eyes cold.

"No thank you Senator, but I just think that you are being a bit naïve. I mean the Separatists believe that the Republic is corrupt but they're wrong and we need to make them see that. Ahsoka and I play an important role in doing that, we will never be obsolete." Anakin seemed adamant about this which surprised Ahsoka; normally he and Senator Amidala had similar views on everything however their particular views on politics and war divided them greatly.

"Perhaps Ahsoka here would like to hear a different side of the story. I think I will teach your Padawan about politics. I will return her within two weeks." Padme decided icily. "Come on Ahsoka, I trust you like your new clothes?" They left her Master shaking his head while Ahsoka nodded vehemently. "Good, let's go to my office."

Anakin shook his head with a smile. It was funny to him that the two most important women in his life would be so forceful and independent. Anakin remembered the first times he met both Ahsoka and Padme when he had underestimated one and admired the other. He was shocked from his past memories by the sound of his former Master Obi-wan Kenobi coming up behind him. "Hello Master, how are you today?" Anakin turned around to face his old friend and mentor.

Obi-wan gave him a smirk however his face was creased with worry. "I'm well Anakin, although I do always seem to be the bearer of bad news for you. The Jedi Council have been monitoring communications from all the Senators by order of the Supreme Chancellor. They have discovered that Senator Amidala has been communicating with someone who lives on Raxus. More specifically Raxulon. We have plenty of evidence to believe that the person who Padme is talking to is a Separatist Senator. The Jedi Council have asked you to keep an eye on her for the next week or so. I'm on your side Anakin so I'm sorry to put you in this position." Obi-wan did seem genuinely sorry to ask this of him and while Anakin was curious to the Chancellor's motives and angry at the Council he did want to know how and why his wife seemed accepting towards the Separatists cause.

Anakin gave Obi-wan a pat on the back. "It's okay Master, I won't shoot the messenger. I'm sure that there is nothing to worry about but I'll complete this mission to the best of my ability. Now if you excuse me I have to find a disguise that will aid me with my task. Good day, Obi-wan." They both bowed slightly as a sign of parting before both Jedi went their separate ways.
