When I say I want love I don't mean the toxic unhappy love my parents struggle day by day with, no , but rather the love on screen. now of course I'm aware every happy relationship has their downs, but just once I want to experience a love that has me on the edge of my seat, when I look into my partners eyes I want to see our future - not an overwhelming doubt things could grumble in the matter of seconds. When I say I want love I'm talking a life time not a short story.
I want to experience the morning texts and the late night calls, I want to know that when I say the words 'I love you' it's not one sided. When I say I want love I mean I want the long walks hand in hand, I want to know that when I'm down you'll be the one I can go to without being judged.
I want to dance in the the rain I want to slip falling into your arms, causing you to fall with me, where we both laugh at the clumsiness, I want to scream our song from the rooftops knowing that I am yours and you are mine. I never want to hold you back from anything I want you to run free knowing that you are still your own person no matter our relationship status.
I never want to feel like a second option, not again. I want you to know when I say you're the best thing to ever happen to me, I mean it.
When I say I want love I mean I want to experience date nights, beach days, and carnival rides with just the two of us. I want to know what it's like to have that special someone that will always be in my thoughts and will be the person I tell my friends about, the person I smile about when their name is mention for any reason.
When I say I want love I mean I want to know what it's like to belong in this world for more than just my friends and family.
