You looked down, thoughts flooding your head and nervousness creeping in your head.
"We need to talk about what happened last night." Ally started
"She saved someone's life and survived a night in the maze. What else is there to talk about?" Minho stated bluntly
"It was her job, she had to help the runners medically. She was allowed in the maze after all." Frypan said
"But what if she never made it out of the maze? What would've happened then?" Newt asked
"There would be no one to help me cook..." Frypan mumbled
"There would be no other additional help after the runners came back." Newt said
"There would be no medical runner to help us in the maze." Minho said
"There would be no third in command to help us." Alby said
"And we would all loose a sister." Ben and Gally said
"The point is, Y/n you can't do that anymore. We are grateful you are willing to risk your own life for others no matter what, but we need you in the glade." Newt said
"Exactly, Y/n aren't running for 2 days due to your injuries. When you do go back to running, you promise us to be more careful. We need you in the glade. Everyone does." Alby said
"I promise." You said with no hesitation "but 2 Days? I can handle 1 day of rest but after that, I have to be active-"
"No." Newt cut off "we would give you 2 years to rest but as you can see we don't have that option. 2 Days."
You sighed and nodded "fine."
"Gathering closed." Alby said before everyone started to leave
The 100 pound rocks on your shoulders were washed off and your nervousness was gone.
Everything was going to be ok.
