CHAPTER 7: SOON THAT TIME WILL COME

KASUMI POV

"I can't visit the Uchiha compound? why?" I asked

"Nii-san told me to... I don't know why, But something is wrong with nii-san" Sasuke said

I was about to go to the store but I spotted sasuke running after me and then he tells me this

"What do you mean sasuke? what is wrong with your nii-san?" I asked

"I don't know, but yesterday I saw him activate his sharingan but I noticed it had a different design, And he looked mad earlier" Sasuke said

"Why? what happened earlier?" I asked

"some people came to our house earlier and accused nii-san of killing shisui-san, they even mentioned your name too" Sasuke replied

why? is there something wrong that I did? 

"Thank you sasuke... Thank you for telling me this, here" I smiled at him as I gave him a box of his 'special' chocolates

"See you later! nee-chan!" Sasuke said waving at me as he left

Well at least he calls me nee-chan

Something was definitely wrong, and I knew he wouldn't just tell me to not go to the uchiha compound all of a sudden, why would he? damn, Im not a good job as a good spy am I?

Spying is something I'm not good at... definitely

Although itachi had told me to not go visit the uchiha compound he ever told me to not visit our usual spot

I waited there for almost a whole day, I would've fallen asleep if it weren't for the rustling of the bushes nearby

"finally here" I muttered looking behind me to see Itachi

"what's this that sasuke just told me?" I asked

"Hn, exactly as he said... people in the uchiha compound are growing suspicious" He informed me

"Okay, and...?"

"And they think that we both plotted shisui's death... you must be careful from now on" Itachi said

"Yeah sure, I should be careful... but what about you?" I huffed

"Hn, soon that time will come Kasumi" He said turning away

"hey! I'm not done talking Itachi!" I said stopping in his tracks

"what did you just--"

"I called you itachi, yeah yeah sure whatever" I rolled my eyes as I stood up

"So you do know how to pronounce the 'I'" He smirked to which I rolled my eyes

"puh-lease stop joking around itachi I wanna know what's going on" I said in a serious tone

"You shouldn't concern yourself with these things" He replied going back to his usual stoic expression

"It does concern me, The hokage has ordered me to spy on the Uchiha-- it's not like I'm saying that I want information from you but what I'm saying is... It concerns me especially when you just said that the Uchiha's are now starting to get suspicious of me and I need to know what had started this, Shisui committed suicide and I don't know why, You are starting to act so distant and I know you are hiding something and the Uchiha's are--" I stopped talking... or at least I just couldn't anymore...

How could I? 

Now I understood it all, I wasn't shy, embarrassed or nervous, In fact I don't think I had such problems before but this feeling... These are butterflies in the stomach, A sign of love... 

His soft lips that's tenderly kissing mine, I could feel how he gently snaked his arm around my waist while his other hand cupped my cheek it took us a few minutes before we had to catch our breath

We both broke away catching our breath, I leaned on the tree that was behind me while itachi just leaned his body on me, snuggling on my neck

"I'm sorry Sumi" He mumbled

"For what?" I asked

"for what might come in the future" He answered

"Itachi, be honest... what is going on?"

'Soon that time will come' Or so itachi says...

I don't think I can handle spying on the uchiha clan, not when this issue is here...

I laid on my bed where the moonlight hit my face, Tonight is such a cold and chilly night... I can tell... it's not good...

You think it's just you itachi... and I would rather not involve you in my problems...

because very soon that time will come...
