" What if we adopt a five-year-old? "

Present....

" It'd be like I got cracking when I was 26. How about that? " SeoJoon says as he turns away to play golf meanwhile Minyoung just stands there thinking. Next day SeoJoon wakes up early to go to the new house Minyoung just bought to fix it with his friend. " Keep the ends straight, will you, Tae? " SeoJoon says while rolling the carpet with Taehyung "You're overthinking it, bro. None of my kids were planned, kid shows up, figure it out easy-peasy. " Taehyung says while rolling up the carpet with struggles

" How many kids you got now, Tae? " SeoJoon says Curiously " Number four's in the oven right now dude" Taehyung says proudly " Wow " SeoJoon says " Nothing hard about kids, as long as you spend some time with them, they're cool. Most important thing, make sure the moms all get along. " Taehyung says while pointing at SeoJoon. Fast forward at 7:30 p.m. SeoJoon arrives at home parking his car in the garage and then entering the house just to meet Max the house dog,

" Max, Hey Buddy!! Hey, you miss me? Oh! that's my boy! You missed me? I missed you too, Yeah, you're such a good boy! " SeoJoon says while petting Max and smiling " Hey Minyoung! I got the towel samples you wanted for the kitchen " SeoJoon says while shouting " Young-ah you okay? " SeoJoon asks seeing Minyoung Crying while looking at the Laptop in front of her, SeoJoon then proceeds to walk the the office she's in to talk to her " Hey, what's the matter? "

SeoJoon asks in a concern tone, Minyoung notices and pulls the earbuds in her ears " Nothing I was just thinking about what you said about adopting a five-year-old " Minyoung says, SeoJoon scoffed " I said that? " "Yeah " " I was totally- I was joking " SeoJoon says stuttering " I know, it's kind of crazy but it just got me thinking and there's so many kids in foster care, and they're moving from place to place and they don't have anybody , and it's like the saddest thing I've ever seen and I found this adoption agency and they're having an orientation next week-"

Minyoung shows SeoJoon the Laptop " Oh, No, No, No, No, Don't show me that " SeoJoon says as he hurriedly closed the laptop " I don't wanna see those little faces, you wanna break my heart I just got home from work, Minyoung, people who take in foster kids are really special, These are the kind of people who volunteer when it's not even a holiday. We don't even volunteer on a holiday " SeoJoon says convincing his Wife not to adopt, Minyoung gets the laptop and stands up from the chair

" Well what if there was, like, a disaster? " Minyoung says " What, like a dirty bomb? " SeoJoon says " Whatever, and there's a little kid who end up in our doorstep, are we gonna turn the kid away 'cause were not special enough? " Minyoung says shaking her head in disbelief " That would depend, there's a lot of factors that go into it, I mean our food rations, the blast radius- " SeoJoon cut himself off noticing Minyoung was done and decides to walk away from the conversation

" Young-ah, you can't just walk away, you can't take some offhanded remark I made and turn into a crazy life decision. It was a joke " SeoJoon says as he follows his Wife into the kitchen, Minyoung turns to look at him " Yeah, I know, I just, You're right. You shouldn't be pushed into something that you don't wanna do. It was just a nice thought " Minyoung says as she tries to smile and nods to prove she's okay " Good Night " Minyoung says then pecks SeoJoon's lips and then hugs him after. " Alright I won't make any more jokes like that "

SeoJoon says through the hug " Alright " SeoJoon says as he watched his Wife walk away to go to their bedroom to sleep, SeoJoon sighs then proceeds to get chips in the pantry " Hey wanna watch a little Fixer Upper? " SeoJoon shouts enough for Minyoung to hear " No thanks " Minyoung says " Okay love you " SeoJoon says about to walk off to go to the living room " I love you " Minyoung says, SeoJoon the turns on the light of the Living room, then sit on the couch, proceeds to grab the remote to turn on the tv,

A few minutes later just a start to the show SeoJoon turns off the tv then goes to the living room quietly, peeking at the hallway then proceeds to open the laptop that was left on the counter, once he opened the laptop he sees those little faces on the screen, curious he scrolls down  the page " Oh God " SeoJoon says not believing a lot of kids and teenagers will be on the site, he scrolls down even more looking carefully at every each faces on the site, he was so serious and curious on the laptop that he didn't notice his Wife leaning on the wall in the hallway.

SeoJoon then notices presence in the hallway, he turns to look just so find his Wife leaning on the wall. " Hey " SeoJoon says as he's trying to find an excuse " Hey uh you can't buy these Pita Chips anymore. They're way too spicy. I'm getting my nose watery and- " SeoJoon got cut off by a kiss and a hug from his Wife. After that SeoJoon finally agreed and they went to bed waiting for next week to come...
