Third person POV and time skip two weeks

Techno had been streaming like nothing had happened, but everyone was more worried for the other member of their talk.Y/n. No one had talked to y/n since dream had. She wasn't picking up her phone, not answering messages, she was offline from discord and had basically just fallen off the face of the planet

Niki was the first to realise something had happened because y/n would usually text good morning texts every morning, but she hadn't texted niki in a whole week! She hadn't even been posting on social media or anything

Niki wanted to check up on her best friend, but she lived all the way in the uk, while y/n was in USA

Techno on the other hand, had been streaming a lot more. He had stated posting a lot more to get his mind of things, basically over working himself trying not to think about y/n. He was taking care of himself, have at least a meal or two a day, drinking water and was being somewhat productive

Y/n was the complete opposite though. She hadn't eaten in a while, water wasn't drank much, sleep was a maximum of three hours a week, she was basically not taking care of herself but her house was getting cleaner and cleaner by the day. If you walked into her house, you would think that the house was bought that morning

Techno's schedule followed as:
- waking up at 9am
- doing his everyday necessities
- drinking water, having meds
- streaming for two hours
- eating food
- relaxing for a bit
- going to edit
- being a minecraft god
-going to sleep
And that would repeat

He had also figured out what Mel was doing. So he stopped talking to her. He felt so guilty for calling
y/n a liar. His stubbornness though wasn't allowing him to go over to her house and make things right. Y/n was honest with techno and it took a lot of courage, but he just made it a lot worse

Y/n's schedule usually went like:
-staying up till 7am
-staying in bed, having nearly finished watching everything on Netflix
- finally getting out bed at around 2pm
-brushing her teeth
- cleaning up her house, like very thoroughly
- going back into bed
-repeat
-maybe sometimes get 30 minutes of sleep

Y/n's phone was very much dead and somewhere in her room. She wasn't even going to bother charging it. She had her laptop and that's all that matters. While cleaning the house, a very smart idea came to her head

Techno and her had a song that was their song, that no one else but each other knew. If techno wanted the truth, then he was gonna get the truth

Y/n left the spot she was cleaning and went up to her room, changing into a suitable outfit. She grabbed her guitar and set up her camera so that her face was obviously not showing

Knowing the lyrics and chords off my heart, she pressed "record" and started to sing the song. It took her one try to sing it. Once she finished singing, she took the footage and quickly uploaded it to her computer so that she could edit it very quickly

It took her about an hour to prepare the video, but she soon got the courage to post it and did it. Techno was for sure to see it, so let's see what happens now

Y/n went back to wearing the clothes she was wearing before and started crying again after holding back tears. She sat on the ground, her back leaning against her bed

Techno had obviously gone onto his recommendation and seen the video pop up. It was titled "Cherry Red by Waterparks cover (for a friend) - roses"

He was so shocked because only the two of them knew that "cherry red" was their song. It was titled (for a friend). He pressed on the video and immediately started recognising a lot of similarities between roses and y/n. Their hair was the same, skin colour, they were wearing the same outfit that techno had seen y/n wearing before. One thing that stood out to him most was how skeleton like y/n looked. Had she been taking care of herself? While listening to the cover, he could've sweared that he heard her voice break a little and then once the song finished, a small sniffle before the camera cut out

What the fuck had he done?

Niki on the other hand was getting super worried for y/n, so she decided to call techno

Niki: c'mon pick up techno, pick up
Techno: hello?
Niki: TECHNO!
Techno: um hi
Niki: have you spoken to y/n? I haven't heard from her in two weeks!
Techno: what? She hasn't spoken to you in two weeks?
Niki: yes! She isn't answering her messages, discoed, phone calls anything!! The last time someone hears from her was like two weeks ago on a Friday

Friday, Friday. It hit techno. Friday was the day she told him that she was roses

Techno: oh my god, Niki I think I really messed up
Niki: what happened?
Techno: do you know about y/n's YouTube channel?
Niki: the singing one?
Techno: she wasn't lying..
Niki: techno. What the fuck happened?
Techno: that Friday at 12pm she told me that she was roses and I called her a liar and left her alone in the dandelion field
Niki: YOU DID WHAT?
Techno: I-I'm sorry okay! I believed something someone else said
Niki: please don't tell me you believed something Mel had to say, PLEASE don't tell me
Techno: wait- how'd you know about Mel?
Niki: y/n had told me about her but techno can you please check up on her? I'm really worried because she can go to very extreme lengths , you should know that
Techno: *sigh* you're right, I'm going right now
Niki: tell her to call me once you see her please
Techno: alright, bye Niki and thank you
Niki: you're welcome

Techno ended the call with Niki and grabbed his things and rushed to his car. He got inside and started driving through the roads and reached y/n's house much quicker than usual, because he may have been speeding a little bit, but it's fine because y/n mattered more
