Part 4 || 1 - Time's been ticking

We were scheduled to start filming on Half-Blood Prince on September 24th, I had been all over America to bunch of interviews then a few Comic-cons. Emma and I had been on Conan O'Brien together, while Dan, Rup and I attended Jimmy Kimmel. The both of the hosts were incredibly nice to us, and not just on screen but off as well. We played a few games and got invited for another interview.

I had been nominated for a People's Choice Award for Best Hot Scene with Tom, of course then there were the MTV Awards for Best Ensemble and also, I had been nominated for Best Actress. Unfortunately, I didn't win any, but it was very fun to attend the award shows wearing beautiful dresses and gowns. It was also not fun for me because I had decided to tell Tom before our filming starts and that is in two days.

I hadn't plucked up the courage to tell Tom how I feel, because I am not like my character - she's a bloody Gryffindor, and look at me. I told Emma to tell on behalf of me, so that I don't have to be the one to hear him reject me but she said no, of course she said no.

I was laying in bed when I thought that I would tell him when I leave for a year, like I won't see him and therefore less drama, but knowing Emma, she's gonna wanna make me tell right when we start filming. I could tell him a few days later, maybe I could buy some courage online.

Welp, here we are, starting filming today. With the script reading, there are some intense scenes for me to act, then of course there's some other scenes. As I was getting ready for my first scene today, that was where I was singing as my day job, my phone rang.

"Hey, Daddy!" I said putting it on speaker. Nina was finishing her makeup while I sat quietly on the chair.

"Hey, pumpkin, just called to let you know, I'll be there in 10 minutes"

"Okay, you tell Mick to drop you at set no. 7, that's where I'll be in five minutes, so, be quick"

"Alright, see you in 5 minutes. Bye, love you"

"Love you too, Daddy"

I quickly wore my jacket and headed out, Nina trailing behind me. I removed my jacket and handed her the clothing, I went over to David, "Hey, David, erm, my dad's going to be here, let him see this scene, so-"

"Yeah, yeah, of course, so let's see how it sounds when you actually sing it, because this time you aren't lip syncing, okay? You ready?" he asked making me nod. I saw my dad looking for me. I waved and happily skipped to him. "Hi, pumpkin" he said hugging me. "Hi, so, you can stand here, okay? You can watch this scene - I have a surprise for you, but you can't say anything in between a scene or unless the director says 'Cut', you understand?" I said pulling him to stand next to David.

"Alright, take positions..." David shouted and I sat near the piano. I smiled once I saw my dad looking at me proudly. "Quiet on set! And action!"

I looked at my dad and smiled widely, while seeing tears in his eyes.

I finished the song with a small smile, that faded when I saw my dad crying, he tried to be discreet, but I saw it. He quickly wiped his tears as David yelled cut. As I was about to get up, my dad started clapping, making everyone clap along. I smiled widely and ran to him, putting my arms around his neck, I hugged him tightly, "Thank you for everything, Daddy!"

"So, Y/N, how does it feel to be back?" David asked sitting in front of me but beside the camera. "Amazing, just perfect, you know with the amount of time we all spend here at set, it just feels like home, more than it should" I said smiling at the camera.

David - "You know we're calling this movie, like we nicknamed it as 'The Pitfall of Teenage Love'" I laughed loudly as it related so much to the movie.

Y/N - "It's so relatable, maybe we should name it that instead of Half-Blood Prince"

David - "So, Tom turned 21, is that correct and you're about to turn 21"

Y/N - "Yeah, it's just so funny to think that we're 21, me, Tom, the twins while our characters are like what 16 - 17, yeah, luckily we still look like children so.."

David - "Yeah, well, what do you think about the romance in the film, not just your character but the others as well?"

Y/N - "Well, the romance is, erm, kind of erm, strong, maybe? Because Ron and Lavender get together breaking Hermione's heart, then there's Olivia and Draco, they breakup as well, but it doesn't look like it, then there's Ginny and Dean, breaking Harry's heart, but you know, it's like same old same old"

David - "What do think about Tom's part?"

Y/N - "I was very happy to finally see Tom in a huge role, this movie, he has more screen time, even though he's with me, but this one, and I'm sure he'll be great, just perfect in his role"

David - "Why do you think Tom is perfect for this part of his role?"

Y/N - "Well, like I haven't mentioned before, he's a great actor, some people just get into acting for the fame or success or money, or anything like that but with Tom, he's very passionate about what he does, so, yeah"

David - "What was your reaction when you found out about your truth?"

Y/N - "Oh, it was just..." I gestured a blast with my hands, "We all found out at the script reading, all we could hear were gasps, real, actual, loud gasps from people, but I'll just have to see what David has stored in more for Olivia"

David - "Yeah, I've read the unpublished scripts, you're in for a ride, Y/N"

Y/N - "Oh, you wish you wouldn't have said that, cause now I'm gonna bugger you till I know what you know"

David - "Haha, I can't say anything, gag order. So, we heard that you're not here the next year, or after the filming"

Y/N - "Unfortunately, yes, I am not going to be here next year, that's why you'll see less of me and my pranks and my annoyingness"

David - "Oh, no that's not like it, you're one of our best cast, we'll miss you a lot"
