Seeing her face, I swore to protect her, even if I... have to leave. If leaving is the best choice for the both of us then so be it.

Will I ever even carry this out?

Parang ayaw ko na yata. I want to stay, like badly.

I kissed her relentlessly, taking this chance for a whole time since I had no idea when I would be able to see her again.

Lumabas ako sa lugar at tumungo sa isang hallway ng masagot ang tawag.

"Hello?"

"Vaughn, Yvonne has been looking for you. Ayaw niya magpaawat ngayong nandito na kami sa Singapore mas lalo siyang naging malala. Lagi ka na lang hinahanap. Kailan ka ba susunod?" Worry can be heard in Dad's voice.

I sigh. "Dad, can you hand over the phone to her?"

Wala muna akong narinig na kung ano bago ko narinig ang kanyang maamo na boses. "Kuya?"

"Yes, Kuya is here, Yvonne."

"Why are you not here? Where are you?"

"I will go now. I'm going there."

"Really? I'll wait, then!" Dinig ang tuwa sa kanyang boses na sabi niya.

Pinanood ko siyang mag-isang nakaupo sa lamesa namin. She has been looking for me. She lets out a couple of breath as her eyes can't stop wondering in the place.

This beautiful girl, I swear will be the death of me. Things have now gone complicated but can I atleast be selfish for the last time?

I danced with her. I sang her a song. I hugged her. I kissed her. I said my words that will surely never be the last for us.

And lastly, I... left.

Our life abroad has never been easy. Yvonne would undergo a series of emotional breakdowns every night which keeps me up 'till morning. Whilst also continuing my studies here in Singapore.

I kept myself busy since it's the only chance that I can stop myself from missing her, from wanting to go back, and from thinking of her.

"Vaughn, guess what."

Napatingin ako sa kay Eurika. She's a rich girl from a pharmacist family who's been getting close to me.

I smile at her. "What?" I interestingly ask when I'm feeling the opposite.

She is the niece of Luis.

Nalaman ko ng maging pamilyar sa akin ang kanyang apelyido.

I mean how small could our worlds be?

So, I took the chance to know about Luis' whereabouts. It wasn't really in the plan to get close to her emotionally but this is a great help for Leigh and I.

"You should take care of yourself, Eurika." I smile.

I asked her for a date and we're currently eating at a restaurant that I randomly picked.

Ngumiti siya. "Bakit pa, eh nandyan ka naman?"

"It's not like I will be with you every time."

She smiled and nodded.

I know that using people is wrong for our own benefits, but this is also for the safety of my sister and for her.

"Kuya, sino siya?"
