Meet the Star: ANAtheCowgirl

From loving books and bedtime stories when I was a kid, I came to a point of wondering what if I write my own stories? And that's when I tried it and enjoyed crafting stories up until today.

I discovered Wattpad way back in my highschool years. I have been looking online for a platform where I can share my stories and get feedback about them. I've been on different writing sites, before I settled exclusively on Wattpad.

Each of my stories have their own unique light, I am proud of them in different ways. But as of today, I'd say "Peak". I have never imagined, ever, that I will be writing an action-espionage-romance novel, especially write something in the perspective of foreigners (Russians, to be exact). For me, this story is on my top list of novels I wrote with the most unique plots.

It's always my favorite experience when I receive messages and comments from my readers. I love knowing how my stories made them feel. I'm glad when they say it helped them with something they are going through in their personal lives the moment they read one of my novels. At the same time, their kind words inspire me to keep writing, their feedbacks help me grow as a writer so I can give them better quality of stories because readers like them deserves it. This makes my every log in on Wattpad really feel special, tbh.

I want my readers to know that I am not entirely what I write. When it comes to the fictional works, I prefer writing about other people and their experiences. I'd rather write what they'll possibly do in the situations they get into instead of what "I'll" do if I were in their shoes. I write about other people but at the same time, input my empathy for them and what they are going through. 

Do not look on someone else's garden, instead, focus on watering your own plants. Be that space where your readers find comfort or wisdom (you can be one or both). But on top of it all, just write and write and write.

I love being in a place where I can learn, see others' perspectives and gain understanding. Stars program gives that to me when it comes to writing, the industry of writing, my fellow writers and Wattpad readers.

These are the Wattpad happenings I've been involved in: won the Wattys 2018 and 2019, participated the Wattpad Filipino Block Party (2020), got featured by Wattpad Romance PH, and joined my fellow Wattpad Stars authors in the first ever collaboration under Paid Stories program-- Project STARS: The Choice Experiment.
