In this story, the monster means our inner ones. The darkness that's always been with us. The one that remained on our head.
And because of that, we doubt ourselves and those people who surround us, thinking that they would only bring harm to us when in the first place, some of them wanted to help us, who knows the inner battles we were so scared to say or show.
Remember to trust yourself. You can only depend on yourself when you're so scared to trust people. I understand, sweetie. Trauma isn't a joke. Find comfort with yourself if you can't do it with other people.
Our monsters are always with us and that's something we couldn't erase.
Some scars are visible, some are not. Don't just use our eyes to look at them, but use our heart. Make them feel that they could depend on us. Make them feel our warmth and comfort them in this cruel world full of monsters hiding using an innocent face. Protect them at all costs.
