I sighed very deeply in relief. She called me baby love so that only means she did not get amnesia from hitting her head to the ground. Fvck. Thank heavens.

"... galit ka ba sa akin? Bakit mo ako nilayasan kanina?" she asked worriedly and that's when Nathan cleared his throat beside me. Napatingin tuloy kami sa kanya, saka siya natawa. 

"Maiwan ko na kayo dito. Pupuntahan ko lang ang asawa ko," said Nathan before he stepped out of the room.

And now we're the only two left here. Her face turned gloomy, she even held my hands onto hers. "Kurt naman kasi. Nilayasan mo ako kanina. Ayan tuloy, lumabas ako ng kwarto."

She paused for awhile, seemed to be remembering what happened last night. 

"Nakita ko si Nathan. We talked for awhile and then I left him alone sa taas. Pagkababa ko... Wait, ano nga bang nangyari?" tanong niya sa sarili niya saka siya tumingin sa malayo. Hindi na ako kumibo kasi gusto ko ring malaman kung bakit siya nahulog sa hagdan gaya nga ng sabi ng nurse sa amin. "Ugh, I can't remember!"

"Alalahanin mo, Crystal."

"Oo na," she replied and closed her eyes for a moment. "Pagkababa ko, naligaw naman ako kaya babalik sana ako kay Nathan para sana magpahatid sa suite natin nang..." Pinikit niya pa ng mabuti ang mga mata niya at kasabay no'n ang paghigpit ng kapit niya sa kamay ko. "Nahulog ako."

"That's what the nurse told us exactly. Are you---"

She cut through my words hysterically. "Kurt, sinong nagdala sa akin dito sa clinic?!"

"I---"

"Sabihin mo! Baka kasi namalik-mata lang ako!" She started to shake me on my shoulders. Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya para pigilan siya. "Kurt kasi! Sino nga!?"

I eyed her confusedly. "The nurse told me that it was one of the guests. I didn't have the chance to meet him since he left---"

"Him!? Hala," her hand clapped on his mouth, seemed to be so anxious. "Oh, my God. Hindi kaya hindi ako namamalik-mata?"

What the hell is she saying? I don't get it.

"Crystal, what's wrong?" I asked worriedly.

She shook her head quickly as if she's got something to shake off her mind. "Nothing, wala lang 'yun," she stopped and looked to me seriously. "Ikaw kasi eh!" She hit my arm lightly. "You shouldn't have left me!"

"Bakit mo kasi ako sinundan?"

"Eh kasi nag-aalala ako na baka galit ka sa akin. Eh sinuot ko naman na yung bigay mo sa'kin," sabi niya kaya automatikong napatingin ako sa katawan niya. Secured it is. She is wearing something casual. I can't help but to smirk as I imagined her on the lingeries I bought for her.

I shook off my thoughts in my head. Not now, Kurt. She just came from an accident. You... shameless Crystal's perverted husband.

"Ano 'yang nginingisi-ngisi mo dyan? Ikaw kasi eh! Hindi na sana ako lumabas edi sana hindi ko siya nakita!"

My brow creased in confusion. Sino ba kasi yung sinasabi niya? "Sino ba kasi yun, Crystal?"

"Si... si..." 

"Si... who?"

"Si..." she paused and pouted her lips, and from that very minute, I felt like I wanna pull her to give her a sweet kiss. "Si... secret. Never mind. Tara na nga. Nagugutom na ako."

She jumped out of the cot and held the cast around her neck. "Ano ba 'to! Wala naman akong stiff-neck," she said and pointed on the cast. "Alisin mo na nga 'to, baby love."
