A day back
It was a pretty normal day for him . Which meant he got pushed around and humiliated by Luke and his dumb 'followers' at the alley behind the college building after class. He hadn't fought back since he thought what was the point ? Money wins anyway.
And he couldn't risk his scholarship by doing anything because he knew no one would stand up for him. He was afterall... alone in this world. It was all going fine when suddenly Luke got too close for his comfort.
"I wonder if your ass is tight , I've never tried a guy before"
Hell NO . There are boundaries . He will not stay still at being sexually harassed .he was done.
"Stop , Luke - this is bullying and I can accuse of harassment . I-I c-can go to auth-thorities . "
"Oh....Really? okay then I'll stop . Sorry. "
And he walked off leaving Gulf perplexed.
He left? That easily? Maybe i should have spoken out earlier. Anyway I should get to my part time job now.
*At the Book Cafe*
"Hi Jennie!"
"hey Gulfie , I gotta leave early today , there is not much crowd today anyway. You will be able to manage by yourself ?"
"Sure " he said with a grin as he donned the cafe apron .
"My savior! I owe you one " Jennie dramatically said as she held his hand before leaving .
There were only about 3 customers , all lost in their respective book worlds .
hmm ,she is not here yet...
Just then ,
"Phi Gulf!!! I have soooo much to tell you today- "
"Shhh... people are reading "
"oh .. sorry " she flashed a cute smile before continuing softly
"I read the book you recommended and OMG phi its beautiful !! "
She kept jabbering enthusiastically about the book while I listened while smiling at how adorable she was. After about 15 mins I stopped her by saying-
"Thanya you should really go start reading the 2nd book in the series then "
"Oh Yesss , I will have a vanilla Latte with chocolate waffles Phi"
"Coming right up angel " He said with a wink
This adorable cute middle schooler was a regular customer that gulf had gotten quite close with.
Once he had given her her order he himself curled up on a beanbag near the entrance and began working on a project he had to submit .
At about 8 at night when the other customers had left I went up to Thanya and reminded her that we had to close.
"Oh Phi can we wait for a little while more , I am on the last chapter and my brother who is supposed to pick me up today hasn't come yet."
"You can borrow the book Thanya and as for your brother- "
"Princess? I'm sorry I got caught up in traffic ."
"Mew? "
"Oh , Hi Gulf "
