Candy Pop and Jason both stared off at the walls, remaining silent. Boo waited patiently for them to respond, but only got the same silence.

Boo almost thought nobody had an answer until Jack shrugged, snickering almost bitterly despite his carefree expression.

"Let's think of it this way..."

Everyone looked and listened, Jason and Candy Pop being confused while Boo was genuinely curious.

"If I didn't do what I did, I would still be the naïve, innocent little clown I was then. Yes, it was an accident, but I say everything happens for a reason. I became a much more interesting guy, I'd say." He smirked and winked at Boo. She simply giggled and wrote what he said down, unaware of the brief, jealous scowl that crossed Jason's face before he cleared his throat.

"He does have a point, I suppose. Although I do wish things would've ended differently, I like where I am now, as well." He smiles, and Boo nods happily.

Candy Pop sighs, leaning against the wall with a slight smile.

"I can't say I like always having a second voice in my head, but I never would've met these loons if I didn't mess everything up, so I suppose it works out!" He giggles at the end, and Jason tries to hide a smirk while Jack cackles, nodding in agreement.

"As for the Slender and Zalgo business, I'd sooner give up murder altogether than be stuck under somebody's thumb. It's my game, I play when I want." Jack states, launching a gumdrop into the air before catching it in his mouth.

"I must agree, I could never be a slave, servant, or otherwise." Jason adds, glancing at Candy Pop sympathetically afterwards. The jester winks, obviously not minding his choice of words.

"I've got a taste of what having a boss is like, only he never, ever leaves. Last thing I need is more than one."

"Everything happens for a reason..." Boo mumbles to herself solemnly, sighing before finishing up.
