The girl looked around."No. I don't see them around here. Mind your business somewhere else will you? Don't go around snooping some drama."
"Ugh, let's go. We're just wasting our time here."
The bloggers left the auditorium not even trying to come look for us. Which is a miracle.
The girl head to the backstage, as I heard footsteps rang from the metal stairs. Appearing to be a tall black woman, dressed professionally with striped blazer and black bootcut pants wearing heels.
"There you are! I've been looking all over--"
She abruptly stopped once she laid her eyes on me. Her amber eyes gaze at my stare that made me look away, flushed and embarrassed.
"Uh- who's this? What is he doing here?"
"Long story, but I think we have a new member of the theatre club!" Cordelia grinned, nodding at me.
She glanced to her and back to me. I gave a sheepishly grin waving at her while she looked at me with confusion.
"What were you thinking, Cordelia? You can't just pick him to join the club." She emphasized.
"We needed another person to play in part of the play, just like you said. Leon used to be one of the infamous kids 2 years ago, I bet he'll attract the other students to join our club."
"Interesting, I'd hate to say this but how are you sure he'll be applicable to our club? He hasn't even auditioned yet, we barely know anything about him."
"That's why we give others a chance. This is another one of our moments where we have to have faith in ourselves to belive in us." Cordelia nodded.
"But what will our friends say? They all dislike him, based on his persona before. No offense, he might not fit in our club." Cyra glanced at me.
"Cyra, remember what happened to our last play? You literally rode on a giant moon prop that doesn't support your weight because it was old. Yet, you insisted anyways. The backstage group had to pull you down the stage but then the rope cut loose and you fell face flat! You were in a coma for weeks." Cordelia mentioned.
Ouch, I can't imagine thinking about that scenario.
Cyra dug her nails into her face squeezing it to hide her embarrassment. She turned around regaining her posture, tucking her dreadlock hair intertwine her fingers addressing a stern tone.
"As the leader of this club, I should be able to make choices that benefit the play. If Leon decides to audition tomorrow I'll let him join. Our friends will just have to bare with my decision."
We all agreed as each of us went downstairs, just as two people went inside the room carrying backpacks. I stayed behind unaware of the atmosphere of the new recruits. One was dressed in all black with accessories, short jet black hair and a pale skin. The other has an auburn hair, oversized shirt with pants and fair skin.
Cyra started greeting them. "Greetings! Welcome to the club, we're happy to--"
"Wake me up when it's already night time." A girl mumbled hopping into the stage, as she lay down face flat snoring.
"Yee boy, we're the first one's here." A boy chimed.
Cyra forced a smile as she composed herself. "Alrighty, are you guys the new ones who joined here?"
"Yes mam, we're sorry thay we're late. See, my gremlin of a sister woke up late and I have to drag her all the way here." The boy explained.
"I'm gonna kick your ass if you don't stop talking." The girl chimed.
