I TUGGED ON THE STRING OF THE BOW, letting go as the arrow rapidly was shot at the target. Wiping the beads of sweat that trickled down my forehead, with a towel.

It was quite a sunny and fair day, the white clouds slowly moving across the vast skies that had hues of blue. A tranquil and quiet atmosphere, the perfect day to go out for tea.

But for me, I wanted to hone my skills in archery further more on this rather fine day. I'm not the best at close combat, but still has some few moves I learned in case of emergencies. I'd say I was quite skilled in studying poison, and creating too.

"Asteria, sister." A voice called out, making me turn my head toards the direction. I placed the bow and arrows on the stands, seeing the crown prince walking towards me.

"Eros." I nodded in acknowledgement, for his presence. I glimpsed at the servant who attended to him, as they bowed. "Isn't it too hot to be practicing outside?"

He crossed his arms, using a tone that sounded like worrying. "Brother, it's fine. Don't worry, I had just finished."

I responded, taking my gloves off. "I'd say I must take a bathe first, before I shall talk to you brother. I wouldn't want to smell unpleasant." He pressed his lips into a thin line, before doing a curt nod.

"Do as you please, but do meet me when you're finished." I hummed in response, before walking towards my part of the palace.

A small smile was plastered on my face, entering the office. The office of his had multiple, neat bookshelves. I assumed it's where the documents where kept, the walls were painted white and everything was kept clean.

"Hn, is everything alright brother?" Eros lifted his head, momentarily glancing at me before nodding. "Yes, sister. You shouldn't worry."

He gestured to the couch that was newly placed, He twisted the feathery quill in between his hands before resuming on writing.

"How was your visit to the Solon Estate?" Eros opened the topic, taking a short glimpse at me. "Everything was alright, Medea matured over the years hm?"

"She has," The male replied, I hummed checking my nails. "About the Crown Princess competition who will be participating?"

"Lady Psyche from House Callista, the only daughter of the Count." Eros responded, as if waiting for this question. "By the way, sister. May you perhaps do his request I have?"

My gaze averted towards him, Eros placed the quill down before leaning back in his seat. "I suggest having Lady Callista visit the palace whenever you can, as she is also a potential candidate to be my crown princess and your sister in-law."

"I'm aware, brother. I shall heed that request of yours," I intertwined my fingers together, in a excited manner. Eros glimpsed at me, I nodded. "How 'bout you, do you have any plans in marriage Asteria?"

I stiffened in my seat, before relaxing. "No," He tapped the quill against the table repeatedly, "If you want, You can meet Lady Psyche today."

"That'd be wonderful." I responded, with a small smile etched upon my lips. "Then, I'll just call her later on. It's a nice day to go for tea, outside."

Eros gestured to the gardens, before turning to me. "Yes, brother. Then I shall take my leave and prepare," lightly lifting the skirt of my dress upwards, doing a curtsy. Eros nodded, I exited the office.
