The eighth year students had gotten an private tower, the head students — Blaise Zabini and Ginny Weasley — had gotten their own dorm room

The school had also installed a recreation centre to allow all students to use if they needed

Which was where Hermione was in that very moment

She was Pirouetting before her legs gave in under her and she collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily and her side where Dolohov's curse had hit her burned slightly — it tended to do that when she over exhausts herself — she groaned softly and held her side, dropping her head onto the cool floor

Her spell alerted her that someone had entered the small room, she raised her head and saw Cormac McLaggen enter

She got up and summoned her dance skirt and put it on, she was already feeling uncomfortable with the look that Cormac was giving her

"What?" She spat

"Didn't know you were hiding that body Granger, you keep surprising me" Cormac smirked and started making his way towards her

Hermione tried putting some distance between them

"Well it's my body and I chose to who I show it, now please, excuse me" she said, trying to get to the door, but Cormac grabbed her arm and pulled her into his chest, she began squirming and trying to get out of his grip

"Let go!" She ordered

"Come on darling, don't be like that" Cormac smirked

"No! Let me go!" She yelled, Cormac threw her onto the floor and kicked her abdomen, Hermione coughed and tried to crawl away, not noticing that her ring was heating up

Cormac grabbed her foot and tried to pull her towards him, she kicked his face and heard the crack of the delicate nose bone

Cormac screamed and held his bloody nose, Hermione scrambled to try to get up, Cormac grabbed her bun and pulled her up, he punched her hard and threw her into the floor

"You will stay silent—"

Cormac was pulled off and someone came up to her, Ginny cupped Hermione's face while two people yelled at Cormac, Hermione was disoriented and faintly believed that she may have a concussion

There was a loud crack and Hermione quickly regained her senses, Cormac was lying unconscious on the floor while the head boy and Malfoy were being restrained by two Aurors

"N-No" Hermione slurred

She stood up and pushed the Aurors away from the two Slytherins and stood in front of of Blaise and Draco

"Miss Granger, move" one of the Aurors ordered

"No" Hermione said, her head still spinning but she didn't back down

"They violated their parole—"

"To help me! T—" Hermione shook her head "they helped me! McLaggen was...he tried to...you will not be taking them" she said

"Granger—"

"No!" Hermione yelled "no! They will not...no!" She said, tripping over her feet but staying upright

"They violated their parol, we have to take them to the ministry, I suggest you move or else you will be joining them" one of the Aurors threatened

Hermione extended her hands

"Go ahead" she threatened, clearly taken aback the Aurors didn't know how to react, they looked to one another and back to the witch who looked like she was going to pass out in any given moment
