Cafè bell ~Karlnap~

~3rd person~

Nick and Karl went back to the park that they had first gone to just a few days before, which is the same place that Nick had pinned Karl against a tree 

The two walked side by side to the stunning area they found the other day

They arrived to the wooded area and both set down next to the small waterfall, Nick was leaning his back against a big rock with his feet out in front of him while Karl was sitting in a Crisscross way with his hands on his ankles with his body leaning forwards 

"So anything you want to talk about, or anything you want to know about me..?" Nick asked as the last part was quieter 

"How did you get started with music?" Karl asks as he looks at Nick with a small smile 

"When I was really little I remember watching shows of people in bands or on stage for a concert,  I thought it was the coolest thing ever!" Nick says with a slight giggle "but honestly I forgot about that Dream for years,  my first year in high school I started to play the guitar and I just fell in love with music ever since, how'd you get your job at the cafè?" 

"Oh umm well actually my friend also works there and she wanted me to work with her, see we've been friends since I could even remember, her names Niki by the way, you've probably seen her around the cafè" Karl says with a big smile on his face with the thought of Niki 

"Oh, it kind of sounds like you two are almost dating.." Nick says awkwardly 

"NO NO NO NO-" Karl says while waving his hands in the air and shaking his head "we are best friends, I could never date her- wait that sounded wrong, she absolutely breathtaking but she not my type I guess" he says with a small nervous giggle 

"Oh ok sorry for assuming" Nick added 

"Oh it's completely fin-" Karl's words get cut off from Nicks phone going off

"Hey,  sorry I need to head back to the office,  emergency " Nick says as he stands up and wipes off his pants from the grass that may be on them

"Mk, umm I'll text you tonight, bye!" Karl says happily as he waves his hands towards the way Nick went 

~time skip. Nick's POV~

It's been at least 3 hours of working, I am completely exhausted 

I've been kind of waiting for Karl to text me but he hasn't yet, 'hopefully he didn't forget about me'

As soon as I finished my thought my phone makes a little ding noise, I reach for my phone, which is in my pocket. 

It was a text from Karl..

~the messages~

Karl🍄💜: hey! Sorry it took so long, my little sister wouldn't go to bed 

Me: hey, and it's all cool I just now got free time anyways 

Karl🍄💜: oh is everything alright with the emergency earlier?

Me: yeah it's fine,  you up for a call? It's a bit easier then texting 

Karl🍄💜:  call is good :D

 Calling: Karl🍄💜 

(A/N to make it a bit easier on me I'm gonna make Karl bold and Nick normal) 

"Hello?" 

"Hey" 

"What you up to?"

"Just got to my apartment, so I'll probably just grab a small snack then I'll figure it out from there, about about you?"

"Oh I'm just playing Minecraft, I actually thought about going live but then I forgot I hadn't texted you yet,  so"

"Oh you stream?"

"Yep"

~time skip. Still Nick's POV~

Karl and I had been on a call for over 3 hours just talking,  honestly I don't think I've even talked to someone as much as I do Karl

'I miss him and his voice already..'

He's just so different from everyone, maybe it's the fact he didn't know who I was or something crappy like that
