Yeshiva POV

Today was the day. I was going to get my life in order. I was going to go to job interviews and enroll in a junior college. I was then going to put Nya in day care. I can't just survive off that money I had saved up forever. I'll run out eventually and then what will I do?

I put on a white blouse and a two inches above the knee length black skirt. I put on some black pumps and some jewelry. I curled my hair and put on some red lipstick, some eye liner, and some blush. I sprayed on my favorite perfume, White Diamond, and walked out of my room.

I went over to Darron, who was the only person at home at the moment. He was eating a sandwich and Nya was standing on his lap taking off pieces of the other side of his sandwich and eating it. He didn't even seem to notice. He looked at me and his eyes bugged out.

"What? You ain't never seen a bad bitch before?" I said striking a pose and then laughing.

"You clean up nice! Oowee! What's yo numba shawty?" he asked standing up with his sandwich in one hand and Nya tucked in his other arm.

"Nigga we live together." I said laughing and taking Nya. "I need a ride to my job interviews and I need a ride to the community college so I can get into a summer course. Oh yea, I need a ride to a car dealer ship too because i sold my old car before I came." I said.

"Welp, I ain't got shit to do, okay. Plus, I want all the niggas to be jelly cause I'm walking around with a woman that looks like a runway model on my arm." he said before getting up and following me outside to the car.

"Are you staring at my ass?" I asked.

"Yep."

At least he's honest.

"So where you wanna go first?" he asked.

"Job interviews." I said.

"Okay."

Three hours and five interviews later, I had got four approvals and one rejection. The rejection came from this Hispanic chick who gave me dirty looks the whole time. What was her problem? She told me to stop in the middle of our interview, even though I was very professional and formal, and told me to leave. Like, damn, can I finish the part about me graduating high school at number ten in my class?

Next, I was off to NYCC to sign up for classes. I couldn't wait. I had always wanted to go to college. Darron had been acting extremely flirty all day. He was constantly looking at my ass, breasts, and legs. He would look in my eyes for long amounts of time. I swear he is such a weirdo sometimes.

"Okay. Come on y'all. I'm gon need some support while I'm in here." I said.

"Alright sexy." Darron said.

Darron and Nya cheered me on and after I signed up and paid my application and tuition fee, plus some other fees, I left with Nya and Darron. I decided I needed some food. I had been out for five hours and I hadn't eaten all day. We decided to go to McDonalds.

"I'm proud of you Yeshiva. In this short amount of time I've known you, I've seen that you're the true meaning of a woman. I-n-d-e-p-e-n-d-e-n-t do you know what that mean?" he sang dramatically.

"Hahahaha!" I laughed so hard at his craziness. I swear he was a clown. Nya was clapping her hands and laughing at him.

"Again!" she said giggling.

"I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T do you know what that mean mane?" he sang.

"I-N-D-E-G-E-8-C-C-E-P do you know whah dah mean!" Nya sang loudly.

"Hahahaha!" I was rolling. She was so cute.

"Hahaaaa! She cray. Lets eat." Darron said before digging into his burger.

"My buhgur tase like good momma." Nya said smiling as she bit into one of the pieces of her burger. I had cut it up for her so she could eat it.

"Good baby. remember, chew 20 times." I said.

"She can count to twenty?" Darron asked shocked.

"Yea. She can count to thirty two. She even knows her ABCs." I said before finishing my burger and eating a fry.

"You taught her?" he asked.

"Yea. It took me three weeks." I said.

"Dang. I applaud you." He said.

"Thanks." I said blushing u uncontrollably.

"Momma, yo face red." Nya said.

"Oh my." I said blushing even more from the embarrassment.

"You okay?" Darron asked.

"Yea, I'm fine." I said.

"Yo face just so red. Thought yo blood pressure was up or something." he said.

"I don't have high blood pressure." I said.

"Oh good." he said quietly trying to not be heard, but I still heard him. What was that all about?

An hour later, I was in the dealership buying a Lexus. I paid off a good 75% of it and would only have to pay $500 a month for four months, but I planned on getting it over with before hand.

I had taken care of all I needed to take care of today. Nya was enrolled in Daycare, I was enrolled in summer classes, I had some jobs I could go to and start working whenever I wanted, and I had a new car. Life just kept getting better.
