Dieciséis - Bucky

Artemis Cloud Romanoff found herself in front of the Avengers facility. She was confused why her book landed her there. She saw Bucky Barnes with Sam Wilson walking towards the main door, which where she is. She was about to run but she saw how Bucky looked at her. Bucky was looking at her with sympathy. She saw how Bucky's eyes were filled with guiltiness. She saw Bucky run to her and she quickly demand her book to make her disappear but it won't obey her. 

"Artemis" Bucky called her. 

Artemis quickly hide herself behind Sam even though she really don't know him. Sam confusedly looked at Bucky. Sam hide Artemis behind his back as she was shaking. 

"What did you do to her?" Sam asked. 

"She wasn't supposed to go here"

"I-i'll leave" 

"Artemis, can we talk? I wanna say something" 

"Bucky, sorry to offend you but she seems scared. Whatever you did, it traumatize her. It's obvious that she won't talk to you alone"  Sam said. 

"Artemis, I'm sorry that I hurt you or scared you. I didn't expect to see you that day"

"Why don't we take this inside? I think, you two have things to catch up on" Sam maturely said.

Sam gently tapped Artemis's shoulder as he guided the way inside. Bucky felt sad but he can't blame Artemis for being scared at him. Sam let Artemis sit on the couch as he waited for Bucky to sit down in front of her. Sam stayed beside Artemis because he clearly can see that she was shaking. 

"Buck"

"I'm sorry, Artemis. I didn't meant to hurt you"

"B-Bucky, you should've told me that I should leave that day. You don't need to hurt me because I will leave without hesitation. I-if you were mad about me killing them, I'm sorry but I can't control that. I can't control myself when I killed them. B-Bucky, they did something to me. You know that I was made to kill you and the avengers, right? They did a mistake. Every time I see an agent or a part of HYDRA, my eyes glows and I automatically kill them. I can't control it. You know how powerful they expected me to be" 

"And they succeeded" Bucky cut her off. 

Artemis just nodded. She still feel scared. She didn't know why her book appeared her here but she knew whatever reason her book has, it's for her. 

"I am really sorry for acting like that. I know, I know that I scared you but please, let me explain" 

"I understand. I know I was wrong that I came here for the second time. I-"

"No! I was wrong for saying that. Artemis, I left you in the facility because I thought they would teach you about your powers or even give you a hint on how powerful you can be but I was wrong. I was wrong by not trying to get you from them. I'm so sorry"
