It's one of those days again.

Taehyung pressing the little ice-bag on his boyfriend's eye, which progressively bloomed with an ocean-blue, right above the oozing cut on the peak of his cheek.

In the abandoned janitor's closet of school's neglected fourth floor, all there echoes are the suppressed winces and disappointed tsks.

The broken spectacle in his free hand are ringed in an unyielding grip while his own move up and down with the scrunching of his nose they are perched on.

Jungkook just guiltily looks ahead, juggling his options for a conversation starter but the next second instead of words, a loud yelp slips out of his mouth. And although there is a futile attempt to stay angry, Taehyung can't help his worried question from slipping. "What? Does it hurt too much?"

The other doesn't answer, rather shoves two of his fingers in his mouth and pulls out a small metal wire with a dragged grimace.

"I fink I bloke my retainer..." best trying to avoid locking eyes with the scary lover, he flicks a gaze to him, then darts somewhere else, then again to him, then quickly somewhere else again.

And Taehyung just *fumes*. He knows the line between bravery and stupidity; his boyfriend however clearly keeps having a little (read: huge) off-pathing with it.

Why else would someone dive alone head first in a fist -fight with ten guys twice their size? (unless they've found the infinity stone or cosmic cube, of course.)

"If you do this again, I'll throw you out of this ducking window you-" In an animated representation of this scene, taehyung's face could've been a burning red with steaming ears, considering how mad he looked.

But he's almost startled when Jungkook abruptly pushes past him and limps towards the window. He aggressively starts to push open the jammed rusty pane "-what are you doing?"

Looking out of the window with a serious wrinkle of the forehead, Jungkook folds his swollen cut lip between his teeth "Checking how high the drop is, see if it's worth it."

Or where school nerd Jungkook keeps getting in (unsuccessful) fights with the senior jocks who bully his (equally nerd) boyfriend.
