Hadrian then looked at Severus and said, "I- I think I can call you Dad now. I'm not scared anymore. I love you."

Hadrian's eyes rolled to the back of his head, and Severus panicked. He tapped Hadrian's face, attempting to wake him. He felt for a pulse, but found none.

"No, no no! Hadrian. Wake up! Hadrian! Wake up! Please!" Severus screamed, "You are not allowed to die! You are not allowed to die on me! You haven't got to meet your Father yet, or-" He broke down in tears, mumbling no over and over.

Draco was broken. He fell onto his knees and sobbed. His wings came out from his back and essentially forced him to move to Hadrian. His wings pushed Severus away, grabbed Hadrian, and pulled him into the cocoon he created.

Hadrian was dead, and no one was able to handle it.

In The Tower: Immediately following

Everyone in the room was destroyed. They had worried they would lose Hadrian, but they never thought it would be like this, not after they had finally gained his trust. Draco refused to move, keeping Hadrian locked in his embrace and his wings. Severus was sobbing openly, mumbling nonsense, while the twins looked in shock from Draco to Severus to the ledge, then back at each other. They seemed to be deep in thought and silent conversation, when Draco's head suddenly shot up.

"Wait! Hadrian's inheritance! I think we can save him!" Draco cried out.

Severus placed a hand on Draco's shoulder in a placating manner, thinking the blond-haired boy was in shock, "Shh, Draco. It's alright."

"No! I'm not making something up! In his Inheritance papers there was something about a partial vampire inheritance. It was enough that it could have manifested! Hadrian could still be alive, he just might need a little help! Blood! I can give him some of my blood!

"Draco, are you certain?" Severus asked, not wanting to get his hopes up.

"Yes, I am," Draco said, trying not to yell, "We should hurry though."

Draco lifted Hadrian, noticing again his unhealthy weight but pushing that to the back of his mind, and began walking to Severus' quarters. He was not running in fear of jarring Hadrian's injuries further, but he was walking relatively quickly.

They got to Severus' quarters and Draco quickly laid him down on the couch.

"So, who should give Hadrian their blood? If that's how this works, that is," The twins said.

"Well, it's best if either a mate or a parent gives blood, and since we have both it would be best for him to have a small sample of both," Severus said, remembering what the transition was like with his own husband.

Severus quickly went to his personal lab and grabbed a knife that hadn't been used, as some of the ingredients could harm a person or creature and possibly corrupt the blood. He quickly made a small cut on his palm, not flinching, then handed the knife to Draco. Draco made a small cut on his hand, flinching, as he is unaccustomed to this sort of pain. They both let blood fall into a glass that the twins had grabbed and placed below. After the glass had a small layer of blood, about 5-7 centimeters, Severus healed the cuts on both of their hands. Draco grabbed the glass and brought it to Hadrian's lips, looking to Severus for approval, to which he nodded. Draco tilted the glass into Hadrian's mouth and watched the blood fall.

SLIGHT TIME SKIP

It had been about 7 hours since they had given Hadrian the blood and he was still unconscious.

"Shouldn't he have woken up by now?" The twins asked worriedly.

"He should have begun to wake up about 2 hours ago, but the timing could also because when my husband, Hadrian's father, did this it was a natural shift, while Hadrian's was under duress," Severus stated, analyzing the situation.

They waited a little while longer when Draco exclaimed, "I saw him move! I saw him move his arm!"

Severus looked suspiciously at Hadrian and Draco, waiting for a movement, when he saw one. Hadrian was waking up.

Hadrian woke up, groaned, and curled further into Draco, mumbling, "Five more minutes, this is comfy."

Draco snickered, then said, "Love, I understand that I'm comfortable, but you need to wake up all the way. Your family wants to see you."

Hadrian shot up, saw his family, and said, "Oh shit. I'm not dead. Holy shit, I'm not dead! I'M NOT DEAD!"

Severus turned to Hadrian with a stern look, saying, "Language young man."

Hadrian nodded, then looked around again.

AN: All the intro drinking blood vampy stuff happened. I'm tired. He drank from Draco, solidifying the mate bond and yada yada yada.

Hadrian slowly stood up with the help of Draco, and they all went back to their rooms. Hadrian and Draco immediately went to his bedroom in Severus' quarters and fell asleep, cuddling.

It was a beautiful scene, but after a few hours had passed, Draco awoke again and realized Hadrian most likely had not eaten for around a day. He tried to wake Hadrian up, and succeeded.

"Hadrian, love, you should probably eat something," Draco said softly to the obviously exhausted vampire.

"Not hungry," Hadrian said in a sleep-addled voice.

"Are you certain? You haven't eaten in a while," Draco responded, slightly worried.

"Yeah, I'm sure. Maybe later," Hadrian responded, dozing off again.

Draco nodded and went back to holding Hadrian.

Time skip like an hour or two
"Hadrian, love, wake up. It's time to eat something," Draco said.

"No," Hadrian mumbled, "beds comfy."

Draco laughed, then said, "Love, after you eat you can go back to sleep again, alright?"

"Fine," Hadrian responded, making no move to get up.

Draco picked Hadrian up bridal style and carried him to the main room. They sat down at the kitchen table, Hadrian on Draco's lap.

They ate dinner, Hadrian spending more time playing with the food on his plate rather than actually eating it, then went back to the rooms to sleep. Severus was about to walk into Hadrian's room and tell Draco to sleep in another room, but then he saw both boys already asleep, curled around each other.

Hey guys, it's me. Sorry it's been so long, I've been really tired. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I would really appreciate it. Have a great night or day,  drink water, eat food, no sliding down sewers, no murder, and I'd prefer no arson, but I get it. Love you guys!
