After arriving in the medical wing Madam Pomfrey worked tirelessly until Harry was stabilized and resting. Draco was beside himself with worry, pacing the length of the room until Madam Pomfrey told him to sit down.

She handed him a calming drought, then said, "I understand you are worried about Mr. Potter but making yourself sick is not going to help the situation."

"He, he's my mate. I just found him. I don't want to lose him. I can't lose him."

"I know Mister Malfoy, having a new mate and them being injured is a terrible thing. He should wake up soon. You may stay with him, I will notify Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape for the both of you."

Draco looked at the frail boy lying in the bed then nodded at Madam Pomfrey. After a little while, the Gryffindor and Slytherin head's of Houses walked in, obviously worried about what the situation would turn out to be. Professor Snape had a vague idea of what happened, but he wasn't sure how close he was. He prayed it wasn't as bad as his suspicions, but it quickly proved to be worse. He wondered why Draco seemed so hell bent on making sure Potter was alright. Internally, Severus was worried about Harry, but he couldn't show it as he had his facade of a cold and unfeeling Professor to maintain. The reason he treated Harry the way he did was not only because he looked so much like James Potter, but that he looked as he imagined his own son would look when he got older. It seemed that over the summer Harry had grown to look less like James and more like Severus' son, which confused Severus immensely.
"What happened?" Professor McGonagall asked, worried about Harry, who looked extremely weak.

"He, he, he hurt himself," Draco said, tears falling down his face.

Minerva misunderstood what Draco said, as she asked, "How did he hurt himself? Did he run into som- Mister Malfoy what's the matter?"

"What's the matter? My mate almost killed himself! That's the matter! He cut himself! With a blade! Intentionally!" Draco yelled, enraged at the woman for her density.

"Draco, calm yourself. I understand this is difficult, but you need to control your emotions. Having an untamed Veela will not make all of this easier to deal with," Professor Snape said sternly.

Draco nodded again, then continued to look at Harry. Madam Pomfrey then led the adults into her private office and explained that Draco and Hadrian, or Harry as he is currently known to most, are mates and the injuries that Hadrian sustained. Professor McGonagall was abhorred at the treatment of Hadrian, and Professor Snape was distraught, as he had been mistreating the boy since first year, and the fact that his suspicions were proved to be the mildest way to put it. They then left the office and went to see the boys. Madam Pomfrey quickly went to check on Hadrian and see if there was anything else she could do.

"Professor McGonagall?" Draco asked warily.

"Yes Mister Malfoy?"

"So, um, I was wondering. How would we get a resort for Hadr-Harry? We were talking about it and we can't really be easily separated for a long time and I'm going to be really overprotective and possessive and he's going to be more sensitive and," Draco rambled until he was cut off by movement from the bed.

McGonagall nodded her head, silently saying she will work on that. She then began to leave as she saw Hadrian was waking up. Snape went to leave until Draco stole a glance and him and grabbed his hand, silently asking him to stay.

"Draco? P-Professor? Wh-What happened?" A weak voice from the bed asked.

"Hadrian! I was so worried," Draco said, then paused to carefully caress his cheek, "What were you thinking? You could have died! What do you think would happen to me if you died? You just accepted us being mates! How, why?"

Hadrian looked at Draco, then tears began to fall from his eyes, "I, I'm sorry. I was scared. I thought you wouldn't want me to be your mate anymore after everything that happened. I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you. Uncle Vernon was right. Ron was right. Hermione was right. They all were right."

"No. Hadrian, they weren't right. They aren't right. You are loved, you are important. I care about you. Please, don't do that to yourself ever again. If you feel like that, come to me, or anyone! Please, I'm begging you," Draco said.

"Wait. Hadrian? Did you say Hadrian? And he's your mate? I thought my son was, how can you be mated to someone else named Hadrian?" Professor Snape said, most likely in shock and in turn oblivious to what was in front of him.

"Uncle Sev, really?"

"Wait, you mean. Hadrian? Are you, oh my, Hadrian, are you my Hadrian?" Severus asked, the emotion in his face more evident than it had been since Hadrian disappeared.

"Yeah," Hadrian said quietly.

"Oh Hadrian! I can't believe it's actually you!" Severus exclaimed, then went over to give Hadrian a careful hug.

"It's me. So, what happened to Vold- What should I call him? I'm not ready to call you guys dad or papa yet. Sorry," Hadrian asked, then turned away as if preparing to be hit.

"I'm not going to hit you, Hadrian. I'll never intentionally hurt you," Severus said.
