The Map

Mia's p.o.v

I slowly opened my eyes and felt a warm figure wrapped around me. I sighed and squirmed my way out and then headed towards the bathroom. I quickly made my way to the closet. Some of my clothes have been moved into his room like slowly converting me.

I sighed and slipped on some leggings kept Victor's baggy 't' on and slipped on a sweatshirt. I brushed out my hair and decided to braid it into a French braid and called that good.

I walked out of the closet to see Victor walk out of the bathroom in basketball shorts and he smiled and walks over to hug me tightly. I hug him and he kisses my forehead.

"Morning." He says in his morning voice. I sigh.

"Morning." I say softly. He smiles down at me.

"Do you want to head down to breakfast together?" He asks. I tilt my head.

"Will I not be making it?" I ask. He smiles.

"Well with my dad here I was thinking I could have a maid do it. But you still can if you want." He says softly. I think for a second.

"I guess we can have a maid do it today." I shrug. He smiles.

"Ok let's walk down together!" He says happily. I nod and grab his hand. We then walk down the stairs together and talk about random things as then I see Edward sitting in the same spot as yesterday. He was wearing a suit, looking perfectly put together. I sighed and then smiled at the thought he was leaving around noon.

"Father, why are you in your work clothes?" Asks Victor. He turns to him and sighs.

"I was planning to leave around noon but they need me back in Russia so I'll be heading out after breakfast." He says softly. We both nod and sit down. The food was laid in front of us, which was sausage and eggs Benedict, which is. very fancy. In my opinion at least.

I slowly eat my breakfast trying to just be polite or have proper manners. Honestly I had no idea what I was doing and Victors father scared me to the bone so I just tried not to make a fool of myself.

We all soon finished and I stood up and walked next to Victor as we saw his father to the door. He smiled and gave his son a hug and then turn to me and held out his hand. I slowly took it and he shook my hand.

"I'll see you later Mia, I'm glad my son found someone like you." He says softly and then walks out the door and just like that the man that killed my family was gone. But I now had some information, information that was definitely reliable for my brother.

I sighed and brought my arms up and stretched and the huffed. Victor chuckled at me and wrapped his arms around me and then my body was picked up and I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. It was comfortable but I couldn't help but feel as if it was wrong. I felt my eyes sting a bit as he slowly set me down on the couch.

Victor gets close to my face and sees my eyes and frowns.

"What's wrong?" He asks. I knew that this was another god opportunity to work my plan in a way showing I was still missing my friends, I obviously am but this was just a good time. I take a deep breath and stare at him.

"I-I know I'm not suppose to mention them but I still miss them." I whisper. I see him take in a deep breath and sigh. His hands move to my face his fingers moving a piece of hair behind my ear and then his hand cupping my cheek.

"It's ok to miss them. I took you away from them and I get that. But you'll be even more happy with me." He smiles softly. I felt my heart shatter. I wanted to scream at him, to hit him to do something to just hurt him. But I just sat there in silence and my vision all of a sudden was blurry.

I need to get out of here now.

He hushed me, trying to calm me down. He then kissed my forehead and wiped my tears away. I tried to calm down but I couldn't. The only thing I could do was hold the tears back.

"D-Do you think I can sleep in the other room tonight?" I question. He nods his head and pulls me close into another hug.

"Yes, I'm going to be really busy today so I'll only see you at dinner. Are you ok with that?" He asks. I nod my head slowly. He sighs. I saw that he wanted to comfort me but he knew he was the reason I was upset and I think he was gonna give me space. And I appreciate that. But this was also time to sneak around.

He then turned around and headed to office. I then decided to walk through the hallways and twist to the darker hallways that had less windows until I saw a metal door. I took a deep breath and opened it, it surprisingly opened and I walked in.

"Man the boss thinks something gonna happen but nothing ever does." Sighs a guy playing cards with the other guy.

"I know. The girl seems weak, even if she took down the captain." He says. I freeze even more. I took down the main guard yesterday? That's a bit shocking.

"Ya. Now he seems more careful, but whatever." Says the other dude. I take a deep breath and the crawl around to the back and see a table. No one was around so I stand up and see a map. I smile at my victory and then grab it slowly folding it and then crawling back out.

As I do I hear foot steps so I run and place my back up against the wall and turn a bit to see the same guy I took down yesterday. I sighed, that was pretty close. I then made my way to my secret spot in the library. I checked so many times and this is the only blind spot with no cameras. I sighed and started to look at the map. I was definitely bringing this with me but it's essential to have a route before leaving anyways.

I then saw a perfect place to meet up with Dom, if he could at least. There was a dirt road that seemed to be the prefect place to meet up. As I continued I heard a noise and quickly put the map somewhere and grabbed a book I was halfway through and then pretended to read it when I saw the same maid as before.

I set my book down and stared at her.

"Hello again." She says. I smile lightly.

"Hello." I say softly. She looks around and then sits down next to me.

"You picked the prefect spot." She says. I nod my head.

"Ya." I say. She nods and then takes a deep breath.

"So I've spoken to Dom and Sam. They think your plan is pretty solid, but they need to know where the meet up. Also the game plan more or less." She says. I nod. I then turn and grab the map and then my notebook.

"Ok so I just got the map today, this is where the time gap is. But Victor gets up by six no matter what, so I'll make a pill to get him to sleep. Also if you look here this is a dirt road maybe fifteen miles, this is are best meet up spot. It's quite and out of the way. Now if Dom can send in some men as a distraction that would give me more of a chance to get away." I say. She nods her head looking at me.

"Good I'll talk to Dom and tell you the date." She smiles and then stands up and walks away. I sigh and then slip everything back into a secret place. Then I stand up and walk into the kitchen and make myself some sandwiches and decided not to visit Victor.

I then made my way to the living room and turned on Disney+ and started to watch some old Disney movies. I hummed along to part of your world and felt my eyes heavy and decided to let sleep fall over me.
