**so i decided to do something a little fun where it's so many years later selena is 16 the age you were when you got pregnant with her selena comes home and tells her parents that she has a boyfriend ((:*

selena and alaia were walking home from school her and alaia always remained super close ever since sarah gave birth to her
"so your gonna tell your mom and dad about leo" alaia asked selena
"yes i feel like my mom would be okay with it it's just my dad i'm kind of worried about" selena chucked nervously
"yeah uncle jj is not going to be a fan of that sel" alaia tells selena
"well he's gonna have to deal with it cause if leo makes me happy then he should be okay with it" selena smiles at alaia
"yeah you're right well i'll see you tomorrow selena love you"
"love you too alaia"
selena opens the door and she sees you and jj cleaning the kitchen she walks in and sets her bag down on the sofa
"hey baby you had a good day" you walk to your daughter and give her a hug
"yes mom i did i'm starving tho" selena groans and laugh
"well i made you dinner princess cause i know your always hungry like me" jj lets out a laugh and looks over his shoulder and smiles at selena
"thanks dad" she smiles at jj "so there is something i need to tell you guys" selena lets out a nervous sigh and smiles
"is everything okay?" jj asks "everything is perfect it actually couldn't get better" selena lets out a heavy breath and smile
"so there's this boy i've been talking to and se-" jj cuts her off and raises his eyebrow "a boy you have been seeing?"
"um yeah dad he's really ni-" jj cuts her off "selena you barely turned 16 you cannot have a boyfriend are you crazy?"
"jj babe hold on relax" you try to relax him but he ignores you
"and seeing so this is what you've been doing when you tell us your hanging out with alaia and your friends?" jj says
"dad calm down i'm not a little baby he's a nice boy i promise he's so sweet i wouldn't be telling you this if he wasn't great" selena tries to explain to her dad
jj kind of hurt when he heard his daughter said that she's not a little baby anymore "i don't wanna hear it anymore selena i don't want you near any boys and let me find out you keep seeing him i'll call john b and make alaia tell him where you are"
"oh my god dad you and mom met when y'all were  15 and mom had me when she was 16 so why is this is so bad" selena raises her voice
"that's completely different selena" jj says to selena
"no it's not you know what i can't believe you you can't even give him a chance just leave me alone you are the worst" selena runs to her room and shuts her door
"selena wait" you call to your daughter but she already ran off
jj sits down and lets out a heavy breath and runs his fingers through his blonde hair " i didn't think this time would be here already"
"babe our daughter is growing up she's 16 she's gonna date make friends make mistakes"  you sit down next to him
"y/n i just don't want her to get hurt i know she's probably really happy with this boy it's just she's growing up so fast i just want to protect her from heartbreaks" jj looks at you
you rub his back "i know jj but everyone goes through heartbreaks you should atleast give this boy a chance he's probably really nice and selena seems to be happy i love seeing our baby happy"
"i know queen i guess i'm just having a hard time realizing that she really is growing up" jj lets out a chuckle 
you swing your arm around his shoulder "remember when we were young and inlove" you laugh
"yes i remember one of the best times of my life" he chuckles and kisses your lips "i'm going to go apologize to the princess now"
"okay babe" you smile at him
jj knocks on selena's door before going on
"yes?" selena says
"can i come in?" jj asks
"sure" selena lets out a sigh
jj sits next to his daughter "selena i'm sorry i freaked out i know your growing up it just makes me sad cause it's happening so fast"
"dad it's okay but i'm always going to be your daughter i'm always going to be here it's not like i'm moving away" she puts her arms around her dad and smiles at him 
"i know i just don't want you to get hurt sel cause i know how boys can be your so beautiful like your mom you look like just her like how she did when she was 16 "  jj laughs and hugs his daughter
"i know dad i'll make sure to keep away from those boys but i promise he is really nice and not some jerk" selena smiles at her dad
"i'm sure he is what's his name by the way?" jj asks and smiles
"his name is leo" selena smiles "he's super cute and nice he's in my english class and dad i'm sorry i said i'm not your little baby anymore i'll always be your little baby" selena smiles at her dad
"it's okay princess i know you will be" he hugs her tight
"aww look at my babies" you walk over to them and laugh
"alright come here family hug i love my girls so much" jj pulls you both and selena in which makes you all giggle and smile
