The girl was left to her own devices in this so called "map room". She was told by Minho to stay put and not come out until someone came back to get her. Even though she had been so happy to run into Minho earlier, she was pretty annoyed with him giving her orders.

She walked around the large table that was in the center of the room. It was a mini diorama maze that someone had put together out of sticks and mud. She took a good long look at it to try and see if she could find where she woke up. She picked up some pebbles and used them to map her path as she back tracked starting from the entrance. From the entrance, she went left, then right, then right again, then left, then straight for a while before stopping. Something wasn't right. If her memory served her, then where she had stopped should be where she woke up. Why was it a dead end? She woke up in a hallway that was open on either end.

"I could have sworn this wasn't a dead end." She said quietly.

"The maze changes everyday." A voice came from behind her.

The girl spun around which brought her face to face with a new man. He had dark brown hair that was plastered to his forehead by his sweat. He looked absolutely filthy.

      "Who are you?" She asked.

"My name's Thomas." He held his hand out to her for her to shake.

She looked down at his hand for a moment before slowly reaching out and taking his hand, "Hi."

"Do you know your name yet?" He asked.

      She frowned, "N-No...is that normal?"

He made this face that said he wasn't sure how to respond, but he did anyway, "It's normal for around here." He walked up to the diorama, "I just got back from the maze. I was going to go wash off but I over heard Minho talking with Alby and Gally about a girl in the map room." He looked at her, "He said you came from the maze. Is that true?"

She nodded, "Yes...well, I mean I'm sure I came from somewhere that makes more sense than being from a maze. But for now, yes, I came from the maze."

"Maybe you were an accident." Thomas said.

      "An accident?"

"Yeah." He pointed to the center square, "We're here," then he put his finger right in the middle of the square, "Once a month, a cage comes up from the ground with supplies and one person. It's always a guy too, never a girl."

She tensed up. That would explain why everyone was so weird about her being here.

Thomas looked at the diorama and noticed the pebbles, "Were you mapping out where you came from?"

The girl looked at the maze, "Yeah. You said that the maze changes everyday, right? That would explain why I couldn't find the spot where I woke up on this map. Why are you all stuck in this maze?"

Thomas sighed, "That's what I'm trying to figure out. Everyone here is pretty complacent for some reason and they don't really feel like questioning things anymore. Some of them have been here a long time." He looked at her for a moment, as if studying her, "Do you want to go back in?"

She was a bit surprised that he asked that, "Actually, yeah, I would. Do you know the maze well?"

Thomas brought his hand up and tipped it back and forth for the 'so-so' sign, "I'm still learning, but I've got enough of it memorized to not get lost."

She smiled, "You know more than I do, so we're already off to a good start."

He smiled back and was about to say something when someone with a very aggressive voice spoke up.
