"i like it"

≿————- ❈ ————-≾

"come on" he reached his hand to you outside of the car

you held his hand and stepped out, you saw a tall building that looked very expensive, "you live here?"

"well" he walked with you, "my studio is a different room than my actual place"

he laughed after and asked questions about how you felt, "tōru i'm fine" you replied. he smiled back and you both entered inside the elevator

"jesus-" your eyes widen by how many floors the building had

"i know" he came over your shoulder, "i was shocked too when i first came here"

"34?" you looked at him press the button, "and there are only 40 floors"

"imagine the elevator stopped working one day"

"ah-" he shivered, "don't jinx it"

"ooo" you playfully waved your arms, "kidding...kidding-"

"just the thought of it" he shook his head, "i hate that feeling"

"oh sorry" you put your arms down

"no-" he faced you, "i get it's a joke"

"mhm" you put your head down

the elevator kept on going up and the silence was loud. you just wanted it to be over with. you made a quick glance at him and saw him fidget with his fingers.

without realizing you grabbed his hands together and looked him in the eye, "tōru"

he looked down at smiled to himself, "i'm weird, aren't i"

"what?" you chuckled, tilting your head, "no not at all"

"a grown man scared of an elevator" he laughed, "pathetic"

"anybody could be scared of anything," you said

"what are you scared of?"

"honestly" you sighed, "i don't think about it often"

"clowns?" he added, "bugs?"

"i don't like them" you laughed, "but..."

"maybe losing something you had for a while and not realizing what it was from the begging kind of ticks me off"

"sounds stupid right?" you laughed, facing him

"no not at all" he softly squeezed your hand, "i get that"

"you do?" you raised a brow, "oh cool, we're on the same page"

"it's interesting...the way you think" the elevator doors opened, "i like it"
