The can of peaches rolled in my direction. I wasn't going to eat them, who knows what they have done to them.
All I thought of was leaving. I wanted to leave with Kenny and Aj, for good.

"Clem, we need a plan." Kenny said to me.
"I know. We all need to get out of here, but I don't know of any plans." I said.

Kenny looked around, he then spotted a window. No locks.

"Bingo." He said, smiling.
Kenny hands me Aj, and he repeatedly hit the window with his elbow.

BANG.... BANG..... CRACK!

And we were out. Just like that.

All I really remember is running, with Aj in my arms.
I heard the men yelling and shooting.
They weren't shooting at us.

They were shooting at the dead.

And they were everywhere.
•••
I hid behind a tree. Aj, still in my arms.
A walker creeped up on me and almost got me.
I tugged my body out from his grip. His teeth trying to maw me.
Aj was crying, which didn't help at all.
I kept pulling my arm away, I didn't have a weapon.
My arm was finally let free.
I kick the Walker, and it fell.
I didn't even think.
I lifted my leg, and stepped right on it's molded head.
Blood gushing everywhere, on my shoe, even on my pant leg.
I was sick, but at least I was safe.
But then I hear a scream.
And I see Kenny falling to the ground, a walker over him.
•••
Kenny tried to break free, but he didn't succeed.
I ran over to him, tripping on my own feet.
I put Aj on the ground; then I kick the Walker off of Kenny, and smash it's brains in.

"Son of a gun." Kenny said, barely breathing.

I pick up Aj, and hold him close.
•••
I didn't lose anyone today.
