Third Person POV
Her hand falls limp beneath his fingertips as he frantically calls out to her. Her (E/c) eyes stare off into the night, lifeless and dull. Silver lines Shoto's eyes as he hugs her corpse to his chest.
"I- I'm sorry,(Y-Y/n). This is my fault... if i- if I had just left y-you alone then you'd still be here." He hiccups through the words, holding her cooling body in his hands. Her blood stains his skin as he picks her up and takes her away from the rubble.

Gently placing her down, he goes back for his brother to find that the Dabi is waking up. Wordlessly, he helps him up while the battle continues. "Touya, s- she's dead."
"I mean... she is- was- really reckless. I gave it about a week, but I guess I lost that bet." Glaring, he scowls and pushes his brother away.
"T- this isn't a joke. She's gone. (Y/n) is DEAD because of me." Hands wrap around Shoto's figure as Touya attempts to comfort his little brother. "Why'd it have to be h-her?" He hiccups as he breaks out of the hug and leads him towards her corpse.
*Time skip*
Dabi had agreed to part ways with Shoto, since he'd decided villainy wasn't what he wanted anymore. Instead, he had fixed up her body as much as he could.
The poor ex-villain knew that he needed to get her out of there quickly. They'd turn her into a real nomu if they were able to get their hands on the body. Nothing was happening to her corpse. She deserved to rest in peace. He'd failed to protect the love of his life.
He could never be a true hero.
Holding back tears, he buzzes U.A. while holding her body in bridal style. Eraserhead met him at the gate and his eyes widened as he saw the dead girl in his arms.
"S- sir. I'm sorry... I c-couldn't save her." Hate glows in the hero's eyes as he takes her from Shoto's arms and looks down in sorrow.
"The least you can do is turn yourself in," he deadpans, bringing him into UA.
After leaving Shoto with Principal Nezu, Eraserhead brought his student to Recovery Girl.
"I failed her, Chiyo. She... she was like a daughter to me." The old woman patted his hand and had him rest the corpse on a recovery bed.
"Don't blame yourself, Shota. She was a fighter and a true hero. I'm going to go call some people who might want to say goodbye before the body goes into examination." She smiles kindly before patting his hand and leaving him to mourn his student.
Bakugou's POV
I can't sleep. I can't eat. Her apartment lays waiting, as if sure that she'll come back.
