Imposter's PoV:
Finally. I have all the crew under my control. My idea was to make them suspect each other and be insecure, however, killing their own? Wow that was... unexpected. A bonus, perhaps. At least that's one less kill for me to do? Also, these people are actually pretty cold and heartless, unlike I'd first believed. I know I'm a mere mortal as well, so I do need to be careful to not get caught.
Maybe I should lay low for a while? Pretend to be doing some tasks? Yeah, that sounds right. Ugh, what tasks do they even have - I've got to make sure it looks like I'm actually doing them, or I'm off for sure.
Rose's PoV:
Whyyy was I stuck with him? Of all people. Lime. Why not with Yellow? I got on with Lemon pretty well. Or, uh, just let me be free? I really wanted to apologise to Peach, I feel like I've upset her. Is this guilt?
Ew, what am I thinking? NO EMOTIONS! Emotions are a sign of weakness. That's what my father had always told me. He never showed any emotions, other than what could only be described as quite smug and pleased with himself.
Chocolate was okay. A bit childish though. Well, should I give him a break? He is the youngest after all, so he has a right to be childish. 4 year olds have permission to act young.
Aaaand... I suppose Lime is actually not that bad either. I've finally decided that he's just rubbish at tasks, that's all. Definitely not an imposter.
"Ow!" Chocolate sobbed, after tripping over in Admin. His breathing started getting faster, and I only now realised that he was sprawled across the floor in the exact same place that he had witnessed his mother's murder the day before. I could tell because the floor was still stained red from the blood.
"It's okay!" I quickly exclaim, reaching out a hand to help him up.
What's wrong with me? Why am I being so nice now? Is that a normal response to grief? Being kind? Because I didn't see it in the others.
Chocolate's PoV:
I had done a lot of crying since my mommy died, including all the time last night, and now. Why are we in here?
Admin only has bad memories. Admin bad.
My knee hurts, but not as much as inside does. My heart feels painful - does that mean I'm going to die????
I keep crying until I hear a voice telling me it will be okay.
But it will NOT be okay, even I know that. Mommy is gone. Mommy always said she would be there to look after me, but she lied. I'm scared of being alone.
It was not Lime who helped me stand up. Rose? Why?
I don't mind. I need to hug someone, anyone.
"Better?" She asks.
"Better" I nod.
Lime's PoV:
It's nice to see that Rose was helping people now. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea going into admin after all.
"Come on, let's go to the greenhouse" I suggest, and the two children eagerly follow.
"Oh, hi Lime!" Someone exclaims, flying into my leg. Ah, so that's where Emerald and Peach were
"Emerald, I think Lime needs your help!" Rose laughs.
She. Actually. Genuinely. Laughed.
I've never seen that before.
"Okay" Emerald nods. "Peach, let's go!"
However Peach doesn't seem too keen. Shaking her head, she says "I'll be fine here. I need to finish tasks, after all. Thank you for showing me how to do some of them"
Oh- well I was technically the one that got her father... how do we put this? Ejected?
So I understand why she might hate me right now.
"Um, Lime?" A small voice asks
"Yeah?" I reply, looking down to see who just spoke. It's Rose.
"Can I play with Peach for a while?"
"Yeah sure" I nod happily. Peach could use a friend right now.
"Okay, let's go!" Peach exclaims.
"Where do you need to go now Lime?" Emerald asks.
"Not admin" Chocolate squeals
"Hey, it's okay" I assure, bending down to give him a hug. "We won't go there. How about the office?"
"Yes!" He jumps up and down in an attempt to see my tablet. "I wanna read the map! My turn!"
Peach's PoV:
Tell ya what, I honestly through that Rose was a snob before. Maybe it's because of her father, I could tell a few of the other crew didn't like him, so maybe that's where she got it from. But then again, it could not be from that. Like, just because my father was the best at tasks, it didn't mean I was any good. I was just always too bored to listen. A single tear rolls down my cheek as I think that.
I'll do everything, dad. I'll make you proud. I promise.
"How about the medbay next?" Rose offers. "That's pretty close"
"Yeah, I remember how to do the scan!" I exclaim. Finally, something I know how to to!
"I remember dad doing it on The Skeld in training. All you have to do is press one button, stand still and the machine does the rest! I even remember all his details!"
"Wow" Rose laughed. "You must be really smart like your dad was!"
"Yeah..." I murmur.
His id was ORAP0, his colour was Orange (obviously), and his blood type was A+.
AA+ to be exact.
Okay. It's fine, just one button.
"You stand in the middle, I'll do the button for you" Rose offers.
"Thanks" I say, leaping across the room onto the scanner.
The green lights begin scanning up and down, writing beginning to cover the screen.
All was as I'd roughly guessed it would be, (oh gosh, why am I this short?!)
That was, until I read my blood type just after the scan finished.
"Wha- What?" I mutter, stumbling backwards until my back hit the wall.
"What's wrong?" Rose nervously asks.
"My... my blood...."
Rose is clearly confused. "What about it? It seems healthy to me-"
"It's type BO-"
"And?" She shrugs.
"My... my father.... he's type AA+"
