"You ready?" Ranboo looked up from Mae's new setup.
After a couple hours, they had set up a desk in Mae's room with her two monitors, the PC, and other essentials. Ranboo had showed her the basics of how to start streaming, and they planned on doing Mae's first stream in a few minutes out of boredom.
"Yeah," Mae looked up from her phone. There was an undeniable new melancholy added to her previously excited façade.
Ranboo frowned, "What happened?"
"Something with my friend from my old state. It's fine."
"We can postpone the stream-"
Mae shook her head furiously, "No. Forget about it. Let's send out the tweet and start the stream?"
Ranboo stared at Mae for a split second, then walked out of the room. "I'll be in vc in like five minutes!"
Mae nodded, putting on her headphones and watching Ranboo leave her house.
Moments later, Ranboo's discord profile entered the empty vc.
"Long time no see," Mae giggled. "Have you sent out the tweet?"
"Mhm," Ranboo nodded, joining Mae's Minecraft server.

Mae watched the viewer count on her monitor skyrocket, reaching 20K within mere minutes.
"Holy shit Ranboo, I'm on 20K viewers!"
Ranboo chuckled on the other end of the vc, "I told you I have a powerful fanbase."
"I can see that," Mae agreed. "Let me go on deafen to do my intro real quick."
She then took off her waiting screen and switched it so her facecam filled the entire screen, waving at the camera.
"Hi chat! Welcome to my first stream. Remember me from Ranboo's stream yesterday? Yeah, this is her."
Mae's face lit up when she read the small increments of chat that flew by her screen.
