Blue concludes the results. "So, most of us think it's Orange. So we... deal with the imposter"
Orange begins shaking, Peach looks around the room fearfully. "No-" she whispers.

"Meaning?" White asks

"Go on then" Orange murmurs, defeated. "what's the worst that could happen, right? Lock me up in my room?"

"Actually-" Blue responds, nervously biting her lip. Oh this is bad... Blue is NEVER anxious...

"What?!" I ask, now extremely panicked

Blue thinks carefully before slowly answering "Well... we can't keep them in HQ, it's too risky, sooo" she said, indicating towards the balcony with her head.

Noticing this, Orange pieces together what Blue was talking about.
"HOLY MACARONI - NO!"

"It's the only way" Blue reasons.

"Well," White mutters, "I guess it makes sense". She says it so casually it scares me, was she really this calm about killing another human being? Does that make her sus?

"Lapis, keep the children here" Blue orders.

"But I wanna-" he complains, but quickly obeys. "Okay, come on everyone"

All but Chocolate, Emerald, Rose and Peach race off to Lapis.

"It's okay Chocolate, you go with Lapis" I say, giving him a small smile.

"Okay" he nods before obediently running off.

"Rose?"

"No way" she scoffs, "I'm seeing this. He killed my father, I wanna watch him suffer"

"WHAT?!" Peach sobbed, "ROSE HE DIDN'T DO IT I SWEAR! MY FATHER IS INNOCENT!" By now she was choking on her tears.

"Oh," Rose mumbled, not really sure how to react to the sudden burst of emotions. "Peach, I'm, uh... sorry, I didn't mean to-"

"Save it!" Peach snapped, running off to the balcony.

"Never mind" Rose murmurs to me, "I'll go with Lapis and the others." And with that, she disappeared, leaving little Emerald gazing up at me with a determined expression on his face.
"Lime," he pondered his words with careful consideration, "I want to stay with you. And Peach, she's going through something really painful, someone needs to be there for her"

"Okay" I agree, picking him up and racing off to join the others. By now, Blue and some of the others have forced Orange into the corner, pinned against a wall and the balcony railing.

"No!" Peach screamed, "it's not my dad! He's the best at tasks! You can watch him- surely the imposter won't have any tasks, so you'll see that way!"

"Go back inside" Blue firmly orders.

Peach was definitely not going to listen to that. "Dad, tell them! They can watch... they can see you scan, prove that you're innocent!"

"Listen to her!" Emerald yelled at the top of his lungs. They never listen to the kids. 'They're just kids, what can they know?' was their excuse.
