3rd Person POV

Three people can be seen in a small canoe floating down a river. One guy who has his hair up in a ponytail as he leans over the side of the boat with a spear in his hand looking down at the water for fish to capture for dinner. Another boy who looks to be in his mid teens has his (H/C) hair down as he sits and stares off into the distance zoning out.

"It's not getting away from me this time. Watch and learn Katara. This is how you catch a fish" the boy with the ponytail says. The girl now known as Katara gives him a skeptical look before noticing a fish in the water right in front of her. She takes off her gloves before stretching her arms out and starts waving them in front of her before trapping the fish in a water bubble that is floating in the air.

"Sokka, (Y/N), Look!" she says in excitement as the boy who is now known as (Y/N) snaps out of his trance and looks at what Katara is doing with a small smile.

"Shhh, Katara you're gonna scare it away. Mmm I can already smell it cooking" Sokka says never taking his eyes off the water in front of him.

"But Sokka! I caught one" she yells while moving the water bubble with the fish trapped inside towards Sokka. Unfortunately for Sokka he pulls his spear back ready to stab a different fish but instead the back of his spear collides with the water bubble which causes the fish to jump back into the ocean and the water to drench Sokka. (Y/N) couldn't help but chuckle at Sokka's misfortune.

"Ahh! Why is it that every time that you play with magic water, I get soaked!?" Sokka yelled as (Y/N) just chuckled once more.

"[scoff] It's not magic, it's waterbending and it's-" Katara started but was soon cut off by Sokka

"Yeah yeah, an ancient art that's unique to our culture, blah blah blah... I'm just saying that if I had weird powers, I'd keep my weirdness to myself"

"You're calling me weird? I'm not the one that makes muscles at myself every time I see my reflection in the water" (Y/N) once again couldn't help but laugh at the siblings bickering.

"You wouldn't understand Katara, it's a thing that men do. Right (Y/N)?" He asked his friend hoping for his support.

"Fraid not Sokka, also don't drag me into this. I would much rather be watching." He said with a smile. Suddenly their canoe jerked forward as it started to go faster down the river as blocks of ice were becoming deadly obstacles. Sokka then grabbed a paddle as he started to slap it in the water hoping to avoid the ice which would've proved unsuccessful if (Y/N) wasn't there as he discretely made motions with his hands to stop the canoe from crashing into the blocks of ice. Then a piece of ice hit (Y/N) right in the head causing him to become fazed for a minute. Because (Y/N) wasn't able to get himself together in time they started to crash into the ice blocks.

"Watch out! Go left! Go left!" Katara shouted as (Y/N) then partially pulled himself together but by then it was too late. Two pieces of Ice crushed the canoe from both sides as all three of them then fell out onto a block of ice. As they floated on the ice the water seemed to calm down. "You call that left?" Katara asked partially annoyed.

"You don't like my steering? Well maybe you should've waterbended us out of the ice" Sokka said directed to Katara but (Y/N) quickly mumbled something about how saying that he tried which gained no attention from the two luckily.

"So it's my fault!?" Katara asked angrily.

"I knew I should've left you home. Leave it to a girl to screw things up" Sokka said which put a fearful look on (Y/N)'s face as he turned to the two.

"Dang it Sokka, you really messed up now" (Y/N) says. He then looks over to Katara who's face was twitching in rage. "Here it comes" he said knowing that there was nothing that was going to be able to stop Katara now.
