Rias: We're not here to fight or cause you trouble we're just here to buy some flowers

Ray was stunned for a second that they knew the name of the flower as he then turned to Issei's arm which everyone noticed

Everyone nodded as he smiled and nodded

After some discussing everyone told Ray that they all wanted a dozen of them per girl there which was Xenovia, Asia, Rias, and Akeno who wanted them as Koneko didn't care as Kiba just tagged along as he wanted some roses along with other flowers as Ray figured he had a certain person in mind and took him away as after a couple of minutes came back with a bundle of flowers that were all unique and a certain color as Kiba smiled and kept thanking him as Ray gave him a note to put within the bundle as it held a personally written message from Kiba to his special someone as everyone was shocked by all of this going on as Ray gave everyone their orders as they paid and were about to leave when Ganyu and Xiao walked down from up stairs as Ddraig appeared
Ddraig: I see so this is why Saphira held no rage or hatred in her heart
Suddenly the spear appeared as the gem on it glowed as she spoke
Saphira: So you still remember them?
Ddraig: Of course I still remember those you considered your children, the Adeptus and the Yaksha, your creations and your children these two are the next reincarnations of your two children

However everyone was concerned as the previous strong being now looked like a frail human who was ready to collapse at any moment as Akeno went over and helped him sit down

Ray held his left eye tighter as everyone noticed a strange feeling as they felt like Ray was being ripped apart on a spiritual level as suddenly they saw a calming blue aura surround him as he dropped his hand as he stared to calm down as everyone noticed the strange feeling disappearing as Ray eventually recovered and stood up tall as he was back to being the powerful being from before
Akeno: Are you alright? What was that?
Ray didn't answer as he looked away but Saphira spoke up
Saphira: Ray's very soul is shattered
Ray: Saphira...
Saphira: Hush boy Ddraig has always been a friend and thus his wielder and his friends are no danger to us
Rias: What do you mean his soul is shattered?
Saphira: It's exactly as I said it's shattered broken into pieces
Rias: That shouldn't be possible if that were to happen to a living person they would die a shattering soul is basically a person dying
Saphira: Normally you would be correct however Ray here is a special case his soul was shattered because of a event that should have killed Ray it lead him to me where he broke the seal and I became his Sacred Gear thus preventing his death but not in time to stop his soul from shattering thus Ray is technically dead
Everyone shocked as the first to speak up was Akeno
Akeno: Is there a way to fix it?
Saphira: Yes a strong connection with someone he loves or cares for can fix the shattered soul but this connection must be genuine and pure and most of all full of love, happiness, and joy
Ray: Enough I can survive without fixing it I've lasted a decade like this
Saphira: Ray if this continues-

Saphira remained quiet as he sighed and told everyone he's sorry for the inconvenience as everyone paid and left as Akeno told her friends she would stick around a bit as the others nodded and left as Akeno went back inside as Ray noticed and was confused
Ray: Why are you back?
Akeno: Someone need to stay and makes sure you don't collapse from that pain
Ray looked at her smiled and chuckled
Ray: You're a strange one you know that?
Akeno: Yeah I know
The two laughed at that Ray tended to the shop as Akeno helped around to which Ray told her she didn't need to but she insisted as it was agreed that if she was going to help Ray would pay her and though she didn't want or need it she agreed as the two spent a lot of time together with smiles on their faces as this continued for a few days as Ray eventually asked Rias if it was okay to officially hire Akeno to which she agreed and allowed as Akeno officially worked at the flower shop part time after school and weekends as she enjoyed it as after a week the two children reacted their prime as they too helped around the shop

The two eventually started calling Akeno mom after a while to which Ray tried to stop but Akeno said it was fine as she said they needed a mother figure as Ray looked like he was reliving some happy memories when she said that and agreed as this flower shop was run practically by a family however like everything else in the world all good thing must come to end, peace is like glass you don't really notice it until it is shattered and where happiness and joy filled the heart, rage and hatred will inevitably consume it in eternal darkness
