"Shut up," I said, quickly walking into the office with my PC and shutting the door. Since I didn't have a room this was kind of my private place for the moment. I ordered a bunch of cute decorations on amazon and started to put them up. Once I was done I was impressed with how it looked.

I did really want to have my own room but my parents were still my legal guardians so I might have to move back at some point. Just the very thought of going back sent chills down my spine. I decided to get on with some homework and just chill tonight. God knows I needed it after today. I did a facemask, had a long shower and did my hair care routine. It was still about 8 when I finished so I decided to start to think about getting an outfit for the party. Even though I was dreading it, I still wanted to look good. It did relax my nerves knowing that Maddie wasn't going to be there. I eventually fell asleep at 10, my laptop still on my lap.
The next few days flew by. Tubbo and I have gotten closer and closer. We would talk every day after school and even started a survival world together. Although it had been a little over a week, we already had full enchanted netherite. Tubbo, apart from Niki and a few of her friends, was my only real friend here in Brighton. I expected myself to be possibly talking to some people at this point, so the fact I had 2 real friends was mind-blowing.
