10. Hi, Lucky!

''You can't sell dreams to someone who walked through nightmares.''

 Raya groaned as she opened her eyes, only to find the God of Mischief staring at her.

''What the...'' she began

''I'm sorry for the...ummm...circumstances of our meeting.'' he said

Raya got up, her head still hurting ''You basically kidnapped me.'' she growled at him

Loki took a step closer to her, feeling the wave of power coming from her. She just glared at him.

''Kidnapping is such a strong word, how about saved you from a difficult situation.'' he said, his hands behind his back

Raya raised one of her eyebrows and crossed her arms. Loki was intrigued by her, he tried to read her mind and figure her out but he failed.

''If the Grandmaster send you...'' she began, but he shook his head

''The Grandmaster knows nothing, actually, I brought you here so we can make an alliance.'' He said looking in her eyes, still trying to figure her out, but there were too many emotions and thoughts, like a storm in chaos ''I need you to kill the Grandmaster.'' he continued 

''That was the first thing I tried when I ended up on this shitty planet for the first time, Lucky.'' she said

''It's Loki, God of mischief.'' he said holding his hand for her to shake

''Well, Loki God of mischief, I don't blame you for wanting the idiot dead, but I don't think that's possible and even if it was, they won't follow you, he got into their heads. You are millions of years late, sorry mate.'' she said as she turned around in order to exit the room

''About that, I might have accidentally told the Grandmaster I could find you in less than an hour. He will try to kill me if I go back empty handed.'' Loki said trying to attack her again

But this time she was ready, she lifted her hand forward and slowly closed her fist as Loki fell on the ground, on his knees, trying not to scream in pain.

Raya got close to him and whispered in his ear ''Feel that? That's your blood starting to boil.''

Loki was trying to find his way out of that situation when the pain suddenly vanished away, like it was never there. He got up and looked at Raya with both admiration and doubt.

''I've heard about you, you know?'' she began sitting down on the ground, her back leaning on the wall.

She pointed for him to come and sit next to her and he did, his curiosity about what the girl was going to say winning over his instinct to run.

''My mum used to tell me stories about you. And I wandered out of all the Gods why you? Because every god has an equal or someone alike in another belief. Like the greek king of gods is my father, Zeus, while the king of gods for norse is Odin, their powers are not the same, but they are each others' equivalent. And I think you are my equivalent.'' she said, turning to him ''You know staring at me won't help you read my mind, right?'' she continued smirking

Lokis eyes widened, taking in her words ''You said Zeus was your father, well Odin isn't my father by blood.''

Her stormy eyes sparkled ''Zeus isn't exactly my father either.''

''Then why do you call him that?'' Loki asked curiously

''The same reason I think you do, because he caused me the kind of pain only a father can cause.'' she said calmly

 Thor was making his way through the crowds, looking desperately for Raya while Banner was trying to keep up with him.

 ''I know you are a little love sick puppy right now but I saw the woman and she is capable of handle herself. She is a GOD, Thor, but me, I am pretty much human and pretty sure don't wanna remain on a strange planes where the other guy's face is everywhere and live what is rest of my life.'' Banner said

 Thor stopped in his tracks and turned to him ''We are all getting out of here, you have my word.''

 ''Don't make promises you can't keep.'' a voice from behind him said

 He felt his heart skipping a beat, he turned around, his eyes filled with relief as he embraced Raya in a hug, taking her and himself by surprise. He broke the embrace and cupped her face in his strong hands.

 ''Where have you been?'' he asked trying to control his emotions, his heart racing and his stomach hurting for some reason he didn't know.

 Raya stepped back, breaking free from his touch. His concern overwhelming her, she wasn't used to that, to people caring.

 ''Having a chat with your brother.'' she answered
