summary> you are the child of kakyoin and you and him decide to make your favourite food cherry pie

You played with you father red, soft locks as the both of you sat on the couch with nothing else to do except scrolling through the channels on tv or just anything that will amuse the two of you.
"dada what should we do?" The small h/c child yawned while she/he/they layed their small head against the older male.
he looked at you and back to one of the cook books he was reading to cure his boredom.
"how about this my baby cherry, we can make a cherry pie after all this is one of your favourite treats, no?" He laughs pinching your nose gently as you laughed jumping on your dad's lap and nodding your head in agreement, "hmm so that is a yes. Okay then ill get the ingredients and what other things we may need. You'll be my helper"

as you both got down from the velvet couch you began to find a pan, small bowl for the filling and a spoon for you to mix with while your father had gone to grab the jar of cherries, sugar, lemon juice, some vanilla and some store bought pastry.
"daddy i got the everything we might need" you pull on his grey pants as he grabbed everything you had while picking your small figure up and placing you on the counter

"ok so what should we do first hmm i guess we should start doing the pastry first" he says whilst grabbing the dough and placing it onto the counter which had been dusted with flour to prevent it from sticking everywhere
he rolled out some of the pastry while also cutting some to make a checkered like pattern for the top

you watched at him mesmerized by the red heads work as he placed the pastry into the pan
"Y/n do you want help with the filling" he ruffled your long/short/mid-length hair as you grinned widely saying "yes!" In which you started to grab the bowl that was right next to you and placing all the ingredients before your dad mixed it together

Giggling lightly he playfully puts the mixture on the tip of your nose, you had noticed this soon after as you scrunched your nose trying to wipe ot of
"Dad that's no fare you know that." Pouting you did the same thing to him as he was now shocked at what you had done. "It was only a joke you know that"
He smiled as he began to pour the crimson like substance inside the pie and finally placing the checkered like dough on top and lastly placing it into the oven

"yay we both did it I'm really excited to eat it." You say as you watched it getting cooked, " you know baby cherry you really are the only one i care for you?"
He says placing a hand on your shoulder as you smiled back at him, "i know. But you also mean a lot to me."
mentioning you give him a slight hug which he did the same for you. as you both continued to talk more the pie was finally complete which your dad places it onto the counter letting it cool

later when it finally finished resting he cut out two pieces for the two of you to enjoy
"dad, lets eat it already!" You e/c lit up in happiness as you both begin to eat

"This is pretty delicious but i enjoy being your father more baby cherry"
