"Daddy" I heard Jasper's voice. I looked up and Huck, Jasper, Miranda, Caroline, Luke and Blake were standing at the door. I stood up and Jasper and Huck ran up to me and jumped into my arms. "Can we give mommy a hug?" Jasper asked. "Yeah, just be gentle" I said. They both climbed into bed and laid next to her. I walked to Miranda, Caroline, Luke and Blake. "Did you know?" I asked as I looked at Miranda. All she did was nod her head yes. "I'm going to spend the night with her, can you stay with the boys" I asked. "Yeah" Blake responded. "Call the police, I need to talk to them" I told them. Blake and Luke walked out of the room and called them. "What am I gonna do" I said as I put my hands on the back of my head. "It'll be fine" Caroline said.
(4 hours later)
Everyone had left. Brad and Carrie were in their room. It was late, around 7. Brad heard a knock on the door and looked to see who it was. He got up and opened it. It was the two officers that he asked Blake and Luke. "Officer Shepherd and Officer Boyle" they both said. "I need a favor" Brad told them. "Anything for you Mr Paisley" they responded. "I need someone, besides me to be with Carrie at all times, I don't want Mike Fisher or Kim Williams anywhere near her, only me, Huck, Jasper, Miranda, Blake, Caroline, Luke, her parents and her nurses and doctor can talk to her or step one foot in this room" he told them.
Brad POV
The officers both nodded their heads. "we will have Officer Lindsay in here and we will come and check up on everything every hour" Officer Boyle said. "Okay thanks again" I said and they walked out. "Brad" Carrie whispered. I walked up to the bed. "Are you okay?" I asked, knowing she wasn't actually okay. "I need you" she said as she grabbed my hand. "Can I see the boys" she asked. I smiled and got out my phone to call Miranda.
Call
M- What happened? Is she okay?
B- Yeah, can you bring the boys?
M- Ok we'll be over in a bit
I hung up and looked back at Carrie. "The baby" she said quietly.
