Chapter Nine

Sahdev: Alright so tell me what secrets are you hiding??
Abhiti: Okay I will but first you have to promise me that you won’t reveal all of this to anyone not even your mother or brothers
Sahdev: Well how can I??…. I mean I can’t keep a secret from them
Abhiti: Well u have to since telling them right now would could be dangerous to my plans for the future…. Your eldest brother can’t lie so if he is ever asked even by mistake he will say everything and it will cause us problems only…. Even Bhrata Krishna told to keep it a secret so please just do as I as say
Sahdev: Alright I promise I won’t utter a single word to anyone.
Abhiti: I know it’s difficult for you but just trust me… I know what I am doing and keeping the things a secret will only help us in the future and give us an upperhand against the enemies.
Sahdev: Okay I believe you Angel I know you would have thought before taking any decision.  
Abhiti just smiles knowing his trust on her
Sahdev: Now stop smiling because soon it will start looking creepy and start speaking as now I am getting curious
Abhiti: Okay just listen calmly ….. As you already know my teacher is Acharya Raghvendra but what you don’t know is that I have 2 teachers not just one that is Bhagwan Parshuram and Acharya Raghvendra…….That’s how I met Bhrata Karna and also Abhiti who was living here already knew the future of Avanti as well as the whole Mahabharat story so she started learning weapons and warfare….. She made a lot of plans for saving Avanti…… Before 2years my training ended after which Bhagwan Parshuram asked for his guru dakshina where I had to save a kingdom from its evil king

Sahdev : Kalinga??
Abhiti: Yes Kalinga…. The King was mistreating his people and torturing them… I killed him and rescued the people after which I was crowned the ruler of Kalinga…. It took me 2 years for making Kalinga as the most prosperous kingdom and I appreciate the people, ministers and my teachers who helped me in everything

Sahdev: Are you kidding me?? I heard of Kalinga’s ruler but never imagined it would be you…. When we first heard that Kalinga’s king is killed we thought that now Kalinga’s people will be in deep trouble as they can be taken as slaves or prisoners but when we heard that the killer has been crowned the ruler and Kalinga is continuously prospering under that person’s rule we were shocked but really wanted to see the unknown ruler…..This is really a big thing and I am super proud of you for doing it but why don’t you come in front of other kingdoms?

Abhiti: Right now apart from you, only Bhrata Karna, my 2 teachers and Kalinga’s citizens know the identity of the ruler…. They respect my decision of not coming out in public right now…. But I need you to know that I won’t be leaving my people under someone else’s rule even if I get married to u as the citizens are my first priority and I won’t be that typical princess who just stays quiet and listens to everyone’s orders….. I can’t back down if my family’s life is in danger and I will do anything to assure the safety and happiness of my loved ones

Sahdev: Relax Angel….. I know you from 22 years and I think I know you enough and quite frankly I don’t expect you to be a submissive person because as you know I like you the way you are…. Your bold attitude and the way you always speak your mind and stand for your family and always keep them above yourselves and think about them.

Abhiti: But what about your mother and family?..... I don’t know if they would like all this or not and I don’t want to cause problems in your family

Sahdev: Don’t worry I will talk with Maa and my brothers… Also other than them only Pitamaah and Kakashree matter from whom I have heard that you have impressed them a lot… So don’t worry

Abhiti: That’s a relief

Sahdev: Btw I thought that someone else’s thought didn’t matter to you

Abhiti: Well they still don’t but this is your family we are talking about Dev… Your happiness is connected with theirs and your happiness definitely matters to me…. Had it been Mumma Papa (Dev’s parents) I wouldn’t have had any issues as once they said if you don’t marry me then they will keep me as their daughter and disown you

Sahdev: yeah I remember I actually thought that I was adopted at that time and I remember how you were teasing me continuously after that

Abhiti: Well the look on your face was priceless so I couldn’t control myself.

Both of them try to remember their parents face but its just blank

Abhiti (sadly): I miss them I wish I could meet them once and just hug them and tell them how much I love them

Sahdev just sighs and takes her in his arms and hugs her tightly

Sahdev: I know Angel…. I too feel the same but know we can’t do anything other than accepting the fact that we can’t ever meet Mumma-Papa, Mom- Dad (Abhiti’ parents) and Abhi (Abhitjit)

Both hug each other for a few minutes after which they let go and Sahdev just kisses her softly on her lips as if trying to pour all his love and comfort through the kiss…. They break the kiss and Sahdev just takes her in his arms and they both in sit in silence trying to come to terms with everything that has happened in the past hour.

Note: Both of them just remember some incidents from their Kalyug lives but don't remember faces

Sorry for the late update but my phone decided that it has lived enough years so I had to get a new phone.... Plus it's difficult to hide and write from the family so it took time... Extremely sorry for that
