Daydreams

I placed my black and white checkered fedora upon my head. It reminded me of him.... Peter. He'd been on my mind a lot lately, I didn't know whether I liked it or not. It made me feel fuzzy and warm. I guess it's a nice feeling in the short run.

Five minutes were left before I had to be at the first art class of the day. I had three every Monday, which are a pain in the ass to get to as there's lessons in between them all. It was worth it though.. for Peter. And my exams of course.

Throwing my bag on my shoulder, I ran out of the door, closing it behind me and locking it in one swift movement. I didn't live far from school so there's no excuses about not turning up to school unless I'm on my death bed.

I timidly shuffled into the classroom, greeting Mr Way's smile with my own. My gaze then quickly goes to the dark haired boy in the far corner, the warm feeling not failing to return to the pit of my stomach. Damn my homosexuality. If I weren't gay, then I might been able to function for the rest of the terms art. But, unfortunately, it has got the best of me and I can't quite keep my eyes off Peter's tanned arms as I set my things down on my desk.

"What'r you looking for?"

I quickly snap out of my daydream and lock eyes with Peter, squinting out of confusion.

"I mean, my neck isn't that interesting... but you're free to stare at it all you like. I'm just curious as to why," he murmured on. I giggled to myself softly as he looked more and more confused.

"I'm sorry, I was dreaming," I whispered in reply, curling back over my work and trying not to seem too awkward.

The room was silent as everyone worked up until Mr Way's voice came from the front: "you all can talk, you know".

Then Peter's voice was questioning me in less than a second, I inwardly groaned. Don't let him know what you were thinking, don't let him know what you were thinking, don't let him know what you were thinking.
