"Okay, Zatanna, we are just visiting, nothing more, don't get too excited, I'm just going to have a quick chat with Batman." My father spoke as we neared a zeta tube that would send us to none other than Mt. justice. I was ecstatic, I couldn't contain my excitement as we neared the tube,
"You will wear this mask to conceal your identity and you'll be known as Zara not Zatanna, got it?"

"Got it." I nodded trying to remain calm. Inside I was freaking out, I rarely ever saw kids my age especially not heros my age. I slipped on the domino mask, masks really make you feel like a different person.

My excitement turned to shy intimidation as I entered the cave and saw a team of young superheros and the batman himself,

"Team, this is Zara, my sidekick." My father introduced as I shyly stayed by his side,

"Hi, I'm Megan." A martian girl with green skin and cute freckles immediately spoke up. I looked among the crowd,

"Hi, I'm Wally." The red headed speedster rushed up to greet me with a smirk and wink,

"Kalder also known as Aqualad." The brown skinned blond shook my hand,

"Conner...or...eh Superboy." The awkward bulky guy shifted his weight,

"Hi, I'm Artemis, the cool one." A tan blonde stepped forward giving me a friendly smile,

"Not true, I am." Wally argued,

"Save it, ginger, no one thinks your cool."

"Not true."

"Is too."

"Is not."

"Is too." They bickered on and on. I saw a young man behind them all conversing with Batman and my father
He didn't seem to pay any attention to me, not for a second. I couldn't quite make out what he looked like as his cape was covering his back and he was turned around,

"Who's that?" I nudged the blonde haired girl, Artemis, subtly pointing over to the boy,

"Oh that's Robin." She answered me quietly, Robin. I think I had seen him once before years ago, never met him, he was in a fight and I was watching from a window. I remember he was short and skinny compared to the others.

Robin turned around right then from his conversation that was now over and I saw a much taller, stronger boy than I had years ago, puberty hit him like a bus.

His costume was so much cooler now, it was deeper in color and more detailed, a little intimidating, actually a lot but I definitely wasn't going to let him know that. I'm sure they all could see my face change from bashful to determined as he walked up,

"Names Robin, and you are?" He extended his hand, his suit was long sleeved now and reached higher up his neck, it was way cooler now, I couldn't let the snot know though. I crossed my arms with a smug grin,

"Zara." I responded as he slowly lowered his hand, noting my unapologetic attitude,

"So you're Zatara's little sidekick?" He condescended,

"And you're batman's." I retorted as his lips contorted, one side raised as the other shifted down as though he expressed the word 'touche'.

"So what's your power?" He attempted conversation, still with that stupid grin, such a brat,

"Quite the question for someone who has none." I sassed

"Well, no offence but you wouldn't be here if you didn't have powers." he sassed right back. I drew back a step, offended,

"I'm a magician, I do magic spells, you know, not like your little gadgets wannabe super powers."

"No need to be defensive, Miss Zara." He snickered, my insult had no effect on him, "Didn't mean to strike a nerve." He spoke so nonchalantly and calmly that it made the sting even worse,
