the present is in normal font.

let us begin!

Standing in the center of the school's courtyard, Mina glances down at her watch. Exactly 5 p.m it said. She diverts her eyes towards the invitation that laid perfectly in her opposite hand. The invitation noted:

"Dear Mina,

Please come to our 10-year high school reunion at 6 p.m on Friday 5/30. It is held at our high school.

Sincerely, your former class president,

Jihyo"

There was no mistake that this was produced by the one and only beloved Jihyo. Her distinctive and charming handwriting remains the same. Mina is well aware that she had arrived an hour in advance to the event. She planned this out on purpose. Mina's outfit is still identical to the attire that she had worn to work this morning. Meaning, the girl headed right toward the school right after she just got off work.

She took a deep breath of the air, while surveying her former school. A smile slowly danced on her soft lips, symbolizing her eagerness. She appeared prematurely to allow time for herself to tour her classroom again. The place holds so much recollections of her adolescence, that in her opinion, she felt compelled to pay the school a visit alone. Mina hopes she could at least reminisce and relive those precious memories, even just for a tiny bit.

The girl rushed to her past classroom, where the majority of her memories were constructed in this place. Once she reached the front of the classroom, she permitted herself to slow down. Stepping inside unhurriedly, Mina scrutinized the interior of the room. Nothing has changed. Everything remained as exact as the last time she was in here. That was 10 years ago. Even the desks were positioned in the same precise locations. Since Mina remembers accurately where her desk rested, she didn't have trouble finding it. She made her way towards the desk.The surface of the desk still held her name on it. The name Mina was carved by Mina herself directly on the wooden top of the desk. Mina touches the still recognizable name, letting another smile forms on her face, while memories rushed through her mind. Just then, she sits down at the desk, finally letting herself lost in the once heart-fluttering youth and moments shared with her first love, Chaeyoung.

It was break time, Mina was doing the same ritual as usual, reading the brand new book she recently purchased. Occasionally, she would peek at Chaeyoung, who was sitting opposite from her desk. Chaeyoung was apparently arm wrestling with the other classmates in the class. Mina was afraid Chaeyoung would catch her staring, so she uses the book to lessen the obviousness. Once her attention was finally on the book again, suddenly the book was gently snatched from her hands by Chaeyoung. Puzzled, Mina looked up at Chaeyoung. In which Chaeyoung sets Mina's book aside.

"Mina, let's arm wrestle." Chaeyoung proposed, while having a cunning look, signifying she will do her best to win against Mina.

Mina held her arms out, indicating she accepted the challenge. Chaeyoung grabs it and tries to defeat Mina with exertion. Mina who was too distracted staring at Chaeyoung, suffered an instant loss. Chaeyoung was astonished that she beats Mina with such ease. Mina herself, was surprised too. She hadn't meant to let Chaeyoung wins that easily. Chaeyoung leans back on her chair, spread her arms on the brim. She looked to her classmates, to check if they had witnessed her victory. Then, she gazed back at Mina and gave her a conceited smirk that says "I win."
