We all enjoy lunch, talking about the simple things in life. Mostly Olivia and I making each other laugh, and the boys talking about pack training to the latest football game. Before I know it Olivia's plate is clean and Jonathan is cleaning her up.

"I'm done Dada." I try pushing out of my chair, but Kai stops me.

"Uh-uh, finish your meal." I look at my half eaten plate in shock. How is there still so much left?

"I not hungry," I grasp onto my stomach to emphasize how full I am but Kai knows me better than that.

"At least finish you veggies little girl," I look at the green monsters in disgust. Kai scoffs, "Oh don't start, you love broccoli."

Yes, that is a fact. But not right now. Right now they are the one thing keeping me from playing.

Olivia looks at me with a sympathetic smile, as if understanding my moral dilemma, "It's okay Addie, I'll set everything up while you finish. Just meet me downstairs when you're done."

With that I watch as she skips down to the playground making me slip out a whine. "Princess, we don't have to stay here, we could go home right now."

My eyes grow wide with astonishment. He wouldn't... But the look he gives me tells me there is a 50/50 chance he would. I look at the green monsters in dismay and eat each one with bites of wrath.

As Daddy helps me clean up, the doorbell rings making us all look at each other confused. Olivia creeps up the stairs with a worried look on her face. Who could that be?

Her vibrant red hair is the first thing I notice. She has to be about mine and Olivia's age. She's carrying a bag of some sorts bringing even more confusion to my mind. Olivia audibly groans and mumbles something under her breath as she stomps over to my side.

"Delilah... What are you doing here?" Jonathan seems hesitant too, not fully enthused of our uninvited guest.

"Olivia invited me over for a play date!"

Olivia mumbles in my ear, "Liar. That's Jonathan's cousin... She tried inviting herself over and I specifically told her I was busy."

Before I could respond the sight in front of me puts me on edge.

"Beta Kai!" She scurries her way into the arms on my mate making my wolf fully alert. Kai quickly pulls her away, patting her on the head awkwardly.

"Delilah... good to see you again." Although he forces a smile on his face, his voice comes out dull and uninterested making me calm down a bit. Even so, I make my way to my mate wrapping my arms around him. Subtly claiming him as mine.

Kai, wraps his arms around me, bringing me to his front, "Delilah, this is my mate, Addison."

Her green eyes stare into my soul, as she sends a menacing smile, "Goody."

I only wave in response, not trusting my voice. It's clear she doesn't like me much, which makes it very difficult for me not to share the hostility.

"So, what are we playing." She smiles, knowing very clear that she's going to make this night as difficult as possible to enjoy. Just smile Addison, don't let her get under your skin.

Kai's POV:

"Have you punished her yet?" I could hear the suggestion in his voice. Addison has been acting up a lot more lately, but I know it's because she misses Xavier.

"For the most part she has been a very good submissive, although there have been times where I have had to bring the threat of punishment to the table. More so now that Xavier has been gone for so long, I think she just misses having both of us together." Johnathan nods his head in understanding and hesitates to say the words that are resting on his lips. I nod at him, letting him know that we are friends and I don't mind listening to his input. As a daddy dom himself, he knows it's not smart to tell another dom how to care for their submissive, but I am always open to what he has to say.

"Well just be sure not to threaten her with a punishment and not follow up on that threat. While in little space they can become rascals, especially when in a situation like her other daddy being gone for so long. She may not take you seriously if you always threaten to punish her but never do, even if she deserves it."

Of course, I knew this already. It's just odd without my brother being here. I know Xavier said I can punish her if needed, I had just hoped our little girl would behave long enough for him to return. "I know. The way she's been acting up lately have been small things that we have a thorough discussion about afterwards. It's sounds stupid but I've been trying to wait it out until Xavier comes back, but I know if she ever crosses the line I will not hesitate to give her a rightfully deserved punishment."

Addision's POV

"So what's the worst punishment you've gotten?" Delilah smacks her lips together and awaits my answer.

"Ummm I don't know..."

Her obnoxious laugh echoes through the playroom. Why is that so funny?

"So you're a goody two shoes?"

"Delilah stop." Olivia whispers and tries to distract herself with the doll in front of her.

"What do you mean? I've gotten in trouble before." Why is it so bad to not be punished? I've been in my fair share of time outs...

"Oh yeah? And what? They just stick you in corner and make you think about your feelings?" She makes a mocking pouty face. I really don't like Delilah. Why is she even here?

"There's nothing wrong with timeouts Delilah. If that's what a daddy chooses for a punishment, then it's the right punishment to be given." Olivia states matter-of-factly, but never takes her eyes off of her dolls pretty hair.

"Oh whatever! Everyone knows if your daddy doesn't punish you it just means they don't care about you." Doesn't care? Is that true? I know I haven't been with Kai and Xavier that long but I'm positive that they care about me. Well, sort of positive...

Olivia rolls her eyes and finally puts down her beautiful doll, "Don't listen to Delilah, Addie, she's just a trouble maker."

Delilah sticks out her tongue and goes back to her toys. I know Olivia said not to listen to Delilah, but how can I ignore the words I already heard? My daddies care about me, I'll prove it to her.

I walk over to our blocks from earlier and stare at them as if they're about to fight me. I can feel Delilah's and Olivia's eyes on me as I muster as much courage as I can, curling my hands in fists. I knock down the blocks making as much noise as possible. I'm sure that got their attention downstairs.
