"So," Georgia looks into her tea that is probably cold by now. "You were like that over one dumb girl?"
"I guess you could say that. I was stupid, young, and really hurt." I said. "But now all I am is happy and in love." I smiled at her and she smiled back.
"You're such a goofball," she comments as she sets her tea on the table and walks over to my side. She sits next to me and cuddles into my side and I pull her in close, breathing in the smell of her.
"If that never happened I don't know if I'd be with you right now. So I'm happy it all went like that. It led me to the love of my life." I smiled down at her.
"I love you," she says to me.
"And I love you." I respond.
I lean down to kiss her but all is interrupted with a crying Katherine.
"I'm about to get a mom point," she whispers and before I know it, she's up from the couch and mending to our beautiful daughter.
I laugh to myself and stand up to help the one who changed me.
