"This is challenging enough for you, right?" Zenitsu said as he sat on the ground behind you. You, Douma, Tanjiro, and Inosuke went on ahead as Zenitsu stared at you four in disbelief. He cried. He was just left alone.

You and your companions continued to walk around Mt. Natagumo. Inosuke stopped and looked at his hands. "Huh? What the hell is this?" Inosuke asked, making the three of you look at him. "Spider webs. This place is full of them." you replied. "Jeez. What a pain!" Inosuke exclaimed as he swatted away the spider webs.
"(Y/N)-san, Douma-san, Inosuke." Tanjiro called out. "Hm?" you hummed while Douma looked at Tanjiro. "What do you want?" Inosuke asked. "Thanks. You guys said you'd come with me, and I felt encouraged. That twisted, ominous scent I was picking up from the mountain.... It made me freeze a little. Thanks!" Tanjiro exclaimed as you and Douma gave him a grin. Inosuke on the other hand, has fuzz balls floating around him.
"Ah, Inosuke-kun! I just met your mother on my last mission!" you exclaimed. "Hah?! What happened? Is she okay!?" Inosuke replied as he shook you back and forth. "Yes, yes, she's fine. We managed to defeat the demon there. She also wants me to tell you to be safe. Please stop shaking me." you said as Inosuke let you go.
"(Y/N)-chan." Douma called out as you gave him a questioning look. You noticed him staring at something and followed his gaze. You saw a demon slayer cautiously walking as he checked his surroundings. Inosuke and Tanjiro noticed it too. "Let's go." you stated as you and your companions followed the slayer.
Tanjiro reached out his hand and tapped the demon slayer on the shoulder. The demon slayer gasped in shock as he prepared his blade, only to see you three. Douma hid inside the box incase the demon slayer might panic. "We've come for backup. I'm Tanjiro Kamado. She is (Y/N) (L/N) and he is Inosuke Hashibira. We are rank Mizunotos." Tanjiro informed.
"Mizunoto..... Mizunoto? Why didn't they send a Hashira? No matter how many Mizunoto they send, it won't help! It's pointless!" The boy exclaimed. The boy was suddenly punched in the face by Inosuke as you and Tanjiro stood there shocked.
"Inosuke-kun!" you scolded while Tanjiro tried to help the slayer. "Shut up! As far as pointlessness goes, your existence itself has no point at all! Now, tell us what's going on, you spineless fool!" Inosuke exclaimed as he grabbed the slayer by the head while you and Tanjiro tried to pull him away.
"Who the hell is this guy? Did you forget that I have seniority?" The slayer muttered as he began to tell the three of you what happened earlier with the other demon slayers.

"You did well to return. So, most of my children have been slaughtered?" A man exclaimed as he held the crow in his hands.
"We might find the Twelve Kizuki there, then. It seems I'll have to send in some Hashiras.
Giyu.....
Shinobu......
Kanae......." the man called out.
"As you wish." the three swordsmen replied.
"If only humans and demons could get along."
"That would be impossible, Nee-san."
"As long as demons eat humans, it is impossible."

You and your group heard some rustling sounds. "What is this sound?" Tanjiro asked. "There it is again! It's this sound again! I heard this sound, and the next thing I knew, everyone started killing each other!" The slayer informed.
"But where is it coming from?" you asked as the four of you looked around. The four of you saw the other demon slayers making their way towards you. You and the others dodged and avoided the swings of the attacks.
You noticed the same strings from earlier were attached to them. "These guys are all morons! They don't know that it's taboo for us Demon Slayers to fight each other!" Inosuke exclaimed.
"No, that's not it! They're not moving normally! They're being manipulated by something!" Tanjiro said. "All right. I'm gonna slash them to ribbons!" Inosuke stated as he took out his blades.
"You can't do that! They're alive! Some of them are still alive! Besides, we can't harm the corpses of our teammates!" Tanjiro exclaimed as he dodged an attack. "Stop denying me at every turn!" Inosuke yelled as he headbutted Tanjiro in the stomach.
You noticed the demon slayers have strings attached to their bodies. 'What if I?' you dashed behind some of the demon slayers and sliced the threads off of them.
"The threads! They're all being manipulated by threads! Slash the threads!" you informed. Tanjiro and Inosuke nodded as the two of them slashed all of the threads on the demon slayers. "I already knew that before you caught on!" Inosuke told you.
'Someone is controlling them. It must be the demon. But..... where are they hiding?' your thoughts were cut off when you saw spiders crawling on your sleeves. 'What the?' you yelped when you felt a strong tug from your arm. You slashed the threads attached to you as you watched the spiders crawling away.
'So the spiders are attaching them to the puppet strings? Then that means....' you watched as the demon slayers were standing again with the threads attached to them.
'Cutting the threads is useless. We gotta find the demon. But how? The threads are scattered everywhere, it's difficult to find the demon.' you thought when you suddenly felt warmth on your shoulder.
'Follow the ribbon. Focus.' A voice exclaimed in front of you.
You looked up to see the man from your vision back then. "Yorii-nii?" you whispered out as you saw the male had on a gentle look.
'Focus. Breathe.' he repeated.
You nodded and closed your eyes. You took a deep breath and let it all out. You saw white ribbons appeared and floated around you.

You grabbed one of the ribbons as it began to turn red. 'I found it!' you happily thought. You felt someone patted your head as you turned to see the male with a smile on his face.
'Good job, (Y/N).' He exclaimed as he began to disappear.
You looked down at your hand to see the ribbon still in your grasp. "Tanjiro-kun! Inosuke-kun! And umm....." you trailed off as you looked at the other demon slayer. "It's Murata!" the male said. "Right! Murata-san! I'm going to go and find the demon controlling them. Can you guys handle things here?" you asked. "Sure! Be careful, (Y/N)-san!" Tanjiro exclaimed.
"Hai!" you exclaimed as you ran and followed the ribbon.
