1. An Eventful Day

Izukus pov

I flipped the sign on the front of the coffee shop, effectively opening it. I went to the back and began to make a new batch of cookies. I began to hum some music till I heard the bells, I stopped the mixer and ran to the counter. "hello, welcome to Kitsune Koffe" I said to the person I couldn't yet see. once I looked at them I saw a man in a full black jumpsuit with a grey scarf. "what'll it be?" I asked "Black coffee, five extra expresso shots" He monotoned "four's the legal limit sir" I informed him "fine, give me four" He relented and walked to a random table. That is not a random customer, that's ERASERHEAD! A pro in my coffee shop, Who'd have thought? I began to make the coffee and I added a cookie with it. "here you are sir" I smiled and handed him the items "I didn't ask for a cookie" he glared at me "oh no that's complementary, I give them to Hero's, in the literal sense and the figurative" I replied. He looked slightly shocked that I knew who he was "how much for the coffee?" he asked "oh 500 Yen" I informed him. Eraserhead gave me the money and made his way out of the shop. I could tell from then that today was gonna be alright. I finished making my cookies and left them out to cool

a few hours later, a group of about 3 kids came into my shop. One with red and white hair, one with blue hair and a girl with brown hair "welcome to Kitsune Koffe, what can I get you?" I asked. I looked at them a bit closer and saw the UA uniform. Hero course students? "I'll have a hot chocolate" "I'll have a green tea" "I'll have an espresso" They requested. "alright, ill have them done in a minute, you can take a table if you want" I smiled and got to work making the drinks. I was listening to their conversation which confirmed that they were hero course. Then I heard a name that made me convulse Izumi. I finished the drinks and brought them to the table, where the students were petting a few of the cats. "here you go, they're 500 yen each" they thanked me and each handed me 500 yen with a 200 yen tip. I began to clean my espresso when I heard a ton of chatter... why are there like 17 kids outside my shop?

They all walked in and lined up "welcome to Kitsune Koffe, whats your orders?" I asked. I  swear if they all ask for something different then their necks are gonna be snapped. everyone ordered except two people, one with hair like mine and one with spikey blonde hair. "Do you guys want anything?" I asked them "can I have your name?" Kacchan asked "I sell coffee and pastries, not my identity" I replied, "tch, ill have a macchiato". They both sat down and I began the gruelling task of making 16 drinks. I brought each coffee out finishing with a black coffee with four shots of espresso, the kid even looked like Eraserhead. "sorry that that took a while, its 500 yen each" I said to the class. I got the money with a few small tips. I collapsed onto a chair when I heard the bell. I was about to shout but when I looked I saw Kota and Eri "ONIICHAN" She shouted as she hugged me. "hey Eri, please be quiet, we have customers" I lightly scolded her "Hey Kota" I said to the boy behind her "hey" He replied. I told Eri to go upstairs to do her homework and Kota followed her. Hopefully, Sosaki (Mandalay) won't be mad. The UA students began to thin out until only three were left. Some red-haired guy, Kacchan and Izumi. The red-haired guy left just as I finished eating my lunch.

Izumi and Kacchan came up to me and started to interrogate me "who are you?" "the owner of this Café" "you know what I mean Nerd!" "get out of my face" I demanded, he moved back a bit but was still scowling "Izuku do you not recognise me?" Izumi asked. I could have played this in any way but I like the way I did it "Arent you All Might's kid?" I asked "you are too Izuku" She almost shouted. "look, I appreciate your business but you need to leave right now" I instructed the Two "You can't kick us out, I'm your sister" "no, my sister is 7 and has white hair. Now get out" I said louder this time "damn Deku" Kacchan muttered as he walked out. I sighed in relief. I sat down with a few cats while waiting for a customer, Wednesday was always one of the slower days. I got a phone call a few minutes later "you got Izuku" "hey Izuku, Is Kota with you? he hasn't come home yet" Sosaki asked frantically "yeah he's doing homework with Eri, I should have texted you, sorry" "Oh its alright, I was scared that he got lost. Anywho, how are you?" She asked after calming down. "I've been pretty good, Eraser head and all of class 1-A came in today so I made quite a bit off that" We talked a bit more till a sketchy guy came in. "I gotta go" I hung up 

"Welcome to Kitsune Koffe, what'll it be?" I asked him, It's not nice to judge someone by looks. "everything in the register" He said, revealing his fingers, with blades coming out of them "Woah, please don't do this" I begged, feigning fear "I'm sorry, I gotta feed my kids" He replied. He's clearly a first time criminal "look I'd feel bad if you went to jail, how'd you care for your family then?" I asked him "I really need the money" He replied brandishing his blades. I looked outside and saw Mt. Lady "dude there is a hero outside, put down the blades" I instructed "she ain't gonna see nothin" He charged at my counter with his blades aimed at my heart. I quickly dodged and jumped over the counter. I swept my legs under him knocking him to the ground. I threw a pen at my windows gaining the attention of MT Lady. She ran inside as I held down the petty thief. she picked him up and handcuffed him "thank you, ms Lady" I smiled at her "the police will be here soon, I'll be outside" She went to leave "wait, I like to give a Cookie to true heroes," I told her as I ran behind my counter "oh that's nice" She smiled as I handed her a cookie "thank you!" she said as she walked to the sidewalk.

I gave my statement to the police and closed the shop early. I walked upstairs to my apartment. "Eri, Kota, are you done your homework?" I asked the house "yes Oniichan" Eri said running to me. "alright, do you want dinner, Kota? Sosaki will be here in an hour" I asked the boy sitting beside Eri "yes please". Kota doesn't like most people but since neither me nor Eri want to become heroes, he likes us. I walked to the kitchen and began to make some Katzudon. As the rice was cooking, I began to make the cat's food "Eri could you bring this to the cat's room?" I asked the young girl. she grabbed the bowls and ran downstairs. I almost let the rice burn but I managed to get it off the stove just in time. "Dinner is served," I did a small bow as I gave Eri and Kota their plates. I sat down ajar from them till I heard a loud Knocking. "stay here, I'll be back asap" I assumed that it was going to be Sosaki because I didn't have any friends but when i looked through the peephole I saw... All Might

"Izuku, open this door" He demanded "yes?" I asked as I opened the door "I haven't seen you in years!" he went to hug me but I pushed him back "I've never personally met you?" I said to the man "What do you mean? your name is Izuku Yagi no?" He asked "no, my name Is Izuku Midoryia," I told my 'father'. He looked at me confused "but that's not my last name" He tried to force his way in "My mother never got married, I never knew my dad" I retorted "IZUKU YOU KNOW THAT I'M YOUR FATHER" he began to shout in a not very kind way. "My father told me that I was dead to him... thusly he's dead to me"
