Chapter 6 Fallen

"Thankyou Hayato, for caring"

Hayato's POV

I sobbed harder when i heard those words and my first name, i gasped a little when he hugged me and without thinking i hugged him back.

I thought he needed someone to protect him.... but in reality i needed him, i wanted to be around him, i wanted him and only him. I don't know if he feels the same way. Im scared to know. But
That wasn't important now, i want to help him get through this, i want that smile back...

"Promise me you wont do that again?"
I said as with my breath still ragged from the sobbing i just did

"I promise"

I felt a wave of relief hit me, my breath no longer ragged.

"Ano Kamitani we should get going now there's only ten more minutes before--"

"Can we stay like this for a little longer?"

"Ofcourse..."

Even though he could barely get his arms around my shoulders, i felt safe in his embrace. I wouldn't want anyone else doing this but him

Ryuuichi's POV

I was touched by how much he cared for me. How he only showed this part of him to me, i've never seen him smile or even heard his sobs. How he cried for me, i felt my heart flutter when im around him. But i know he isn't into me or even guys for that matter. I decided to keep this feelings for myself for now.

We stayed like that for about five minutes until we reluctantly separated
And we walked back to the daycare and grabbed our bento's for lunch, then went on to class like nothing had happened

Talking with him felt at ease after that
Small talk from there felt easy he wasn't as cold or hard to approach at then.
He was warm and tender he even smiled more.

Chemistry class started and Mr Hebihara assigned us another paper about hydrocarbons the materials were simple i don't know what he wanted us to do but i guess the teacher knows best. The teacher told us that the paper was paired only one other besides yourself. I immediately turned around to see Kamitani rested his chin on his palm, he had his dead eyes starring it me but with a small smile on his face

Red tinted my cheeks a little as i was about to ask him to be my partner for this paper he seemed to beat me to it.

"Kashima do you want to be my partner?"

'This is just for a paper calm down Ryuu Calm down' i thought to my self who was overjoyed

"I'd love to" Red started to creep up my face

*badump* *badump*!
'Slow down Hayato slow down take it slow'

"Well if that's the case do you want to do it today? At your place or mine?"

"Hm your place" kamitani answered

"Sounds good meet up at 5"

'Kamitani still had that stern fierce expression with his sharp eyes. But when he softened his look and smiled a little i can't help to find that attractive'

Ryuu thought to himself while still looking at kamitani's deep green eyes
Red that already tinted his cheeks turned crimson

'He's so cute when he blushes' kamitani thought to himself

After school

Ryuu and Hayato walked together with their brothers in hand they had small talk on their way before they reached Kamitani's house to let him and taka get ready.
