The crystal gems along with defect ruby have finally came back to earth, The gems goes inside the house chatting with each other, defect look at her surroundings "so what do you think?" Steven nudges her "its actually alright" defect answers him, Steven yawns "I'm going to bed" Steven wave her a small goodbye and goes inside the bathroom to change (pretend he brought his pajamas with him) defect look at garnet and poke her leg "yes?" Garnet looks down at defect "what's sleep?" Defect questions her "sleep is when you lay somewhere comfortable, you close your eyes not thinking anything leading you in your dream" Steven goes out the bathroom up to his bed "good night everyone" the crystal gems bid goodnight to Steven, and now he's fast asleep "do you wanna explore the whole temple?" Amethyst question's her "uhm ok?" Defect agrees so amethyst drags her to the door "amethyst no!" Pearl cries out but it's too late "welcome to my junk castle" amethyst shows her around and showing her some cool stuff that still works, defect is checking a book "that's a book, it's where you can wright and read" defect understood a little, she touch the side and slide her hand and immedietly understands how to open it, she swap the pages and start reading the letters "ohh.." Amethyst chuckle at this "welp if you're gonna act like a nerd infront of me do it outside" defect just nods, amethyst opens the door and she walk out
She walk up to the couch and touch it 'it felt soft and squishy...meh I'm pretty sure it's ok' she sit on it and start reading again

Defect just stares blankly at this but decide to ignore it "so...can I explore later when it's bright again?"
Garnet nods "yes" then everything went quiet again...except pearl was doing the dishes, defect was curious so she put her book down and goes to pearl "pearl?" Pearl look at her surprise "yes ruby?"
"Call me defect, aslo what are you doing?" Pearl cough a bit "I didn't know you would want to be named with such...insult" defect shrugs "it grew on me" pearl sigh's and put her on a stall beside her "well I'm doing the dishes, it's something humans do to clean things call plates, spuns, forks, cups, bowls, pans" pearl start blabbering about interesting humans does "can I help?" Pearl look at her surprise and she nods "sure" she gave defect the sponge and she stare at it confuse and squeezing it "all you have to do is scrub it until the dirty things are gone" defect think it's a little difficult but she's getting the hang of it
