I pull away and see the dark mark on his neck right where his mate mark would be, and I smile.

"What?" He asks breathlessly.

"Nothing" I say as I shake my head, and then start to run my hands under his shirt. Kai chuckles and helps me in taking his shirt off and throwing it off to the side.

I go back to leaving kisses all around his neck and chest. When I trail my kisses back up to the mark I left, he grips my hips and flips me on my back and presses me into the couch.
