Amazed By You (Sequel To Look After You)

(2) Cat Fight!

Two weeks later 

Ellie Kate was standing with her friends, Paisley,Frankie,Cole Colton and Caleb. The three boys play on the baseball team. But they are also musical theatre nerds as well. It was before first period. 

"Attention students! 

It was the intercoms blaring as the guidance counselor was talking. Everyone began to whisper their conversations. 

"We finally have our nominees for Homecoming Court. We will start from the bottom and work our way up to the seniors." The intercom blared. 

She went through the freshmen lady and lords nominees. The sophomores were called Duke and Duchesses. The juniors were prince and princesses. It was finally time for them to announce the senior court nominees for Queen and King. 

"Okay our senior court nominees are as followed: Queen Nominees, Natasha Romanoff, Yelena Bolova, Wanda Maximoff and lastly Elliot Katherine Cooper." as the names blared out. 

"Colt? I'm not hearing things right?" Ellie Kate said 

"No doll you aren't hearing things. Congratulations." He said with a smile. 

"Now on to the King nominees Colton Baxter Cole Daniels Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes." 

"Congrats to you as well." She said 

"I'll be your escort." Colton said 

"First we need to make sure this isn't some sick joke Colt. Cause I'm not popular.." she said 

"Stop it." Colton said as their group began to walk off. 

Down by the gym where Bucky and his friends were him and Sam congratulated each other as well as the girls. Morgan was not happy she wasn't even nominated. 

"This has to be a joke. She isn't even popular!" Morgan snapped. 

"Darlin it's alright." Bucky said as they all went to class.

Ellie Kate's lunch period was with her friends as well as Sam and Morgan's. Frankie walked with Ellie Kate as they went to turn in their trays. As they were walking back to their table Morgan stopped Ellie. 

"Who do you think you are?" Morgan said 

"Excuse me.." she said 

"How many people did you pay off to vote for you? Cause God knows you are a nobody a nerd..and I know all about how you go around talking shit about me cause I'm with your baby daddy. Guess what he is with me! Someone he is suppose to be with a cheerleader the head cheerleader at that." Morgan said 

Ellie swallowed back a lump in throat. 

"You are a nobody a nerd. You aren't like the rest of us you aren't like me. And he realized that and that's why he is with me now. He is popular a football star and he doesn't need to be seen with a nobody nerd. And soon enough Colton will realize that too. You need to stay in your lane and date your own kind." Morgan said as she got right in Ellie's face.  

Frankie grabbed somebody's milk carton as they walked by and poured it on Morgan. 

"Oops." Frankie said 

Ellie bawled up her fist and punched Morgan. 

"You bitch!" Morgan said as she punched her back. 

The cafeteria erupted with everyone chanting "fight fight" 

Colton went running as Ellie had Morgan pinned down and just as she went to punch her again. Colton pulled her off. 

"Ellie breathe it's okay." He whispered as he held her fists. 

Ellie was crying and shaking as Sam held Morgan back. 

"Girls!" The principal said as he came in. 

Colton helped Ellie up. "You're okay." He said as he hugged her. 

"My office now! Both of you.." principal Hampton said 

They were both sitting outside the principal office's with ice packs on their eyes. They were waiting for their parents. 

Ryan arrived first then Morgan's parents Hailey and Dr Edwin Edwards. 

"Elliot Katherine.." Ryan said 

She looked up as he saw Morgan. 

They all went into the office. 

"So glad that you all could come in on such short notice. Witnesses said that Ms Edwards approached Ms Cooper first. And that Ms Jones poured milk on Ms Edwards I have already spoken with her. But witnesses said that's when your daughter threw the first punch." Principal Hampton said 

"Elliot Katherine..what did she say to you?" Ryan said

She looked up at him and he leaned down. She whispered in his ear that she was saying things that Taylor use to say to her. Ryan closed his eyes as he swallowed back a lump in his throat. Ellie Kate had been going through extensive amount of therapy to help her cope with all the trauma Taylor inflicted on their daughter.

"Principal Hampton can we discuss this without them in here please." Ryan said 

"Of course. You two girls go sit outside the door again." Principal Hampton said 

Both Morgan and Ellie left the office. "What did your daughter say?" Hailey said 

"My daughter is in therapy due to the emotional verbal and semi physical abuse my late wife inflicted on our daughter. My late wife had trouble accepting the fact that Ellie was not like her it got to the point that she would act like she was in still high school and make fun of her. Ellie developed a cutting habit. She has major ptsd and it was triggered. She just said that your daughter said all the things that her mother use to say to her." Ryan said 

Principal Hampton sat down at his desk. "Mr Cooper I understand that your daughter had a difficult time and besides the fact that this is the first time she's been in here. I'm going to let her off with a warning. As far as your daughter goes she is suspended for three days cause she has been in here before for fighting." Principal Hampton said 

"Okay." Dr Edwards said as the girls came back in. 

He let them know their punishments. 

"That's not fair she punched me first." Morgan said 

"You provoked her. I've watched the camera footage Ms Edwards you deliberately walked up to her instigating the confrontation." Principal Hampton said 

"Ugh this is so unfair! This means coach won't let me perform at the competition this weekend." Morgan said 

"Sorry but this is your punishment." Principal Hampton said 

"Nerds don't fight back. They usually run away and cry." Morgan said to Ellie. 

"Ms Edwards! That is enough of the harassment. And just for that it's four days." Principal Hampton said in a stern tone. 

Morgan left with her parents with her nose stuck up in the air. That night she lied to Bucky and told him that Ellie started it all.
